Not at all, you tried playing gotcha and did an incredibly sloppy and stupid job of it. Trying to project and lie your way out of it doesn’t change the fact that your reference and gotcha attempt has zero to do with the post you responded to.

What I really meant by scare tactics was more the nazi-type “Jews sold us out and control the banks” stuff. Political scare tactics. Like dudes becoming stormtroopers because they’ve been propagandized into thinking the Jedi tried to overthrow the republic.
I want Star Wars like Andor. Ground level, gritty, and personal.
Also, I do not recognize Finn. Whatever potential that storyline had was ruined by:
1. The child soldier angle
2. The awful treatment of his character in TLJ
3. Terrible writing and lack of foresight into the overall story

Well it’s stupid and it’s lore changing. In the OT it’s ambiguous which is fine to start off with. Then you get the prequels and they’re clones which is smart, it makes sense and they isolated the production so it’s buttoned up nicely. But now they’re recruiting adversarial populations which makes no sense plus cloning is rampant which is dumb and makes the recruiting even more idiotic.

No way. Clones are boring. Regular people participating in genocide for various reasons is a better story. That’s what’s wrong with clones and child soldiers both. It removes any possibility of deeper stories. They’re just mindless pawns because that’s what the writers say. People becoming mindless pawns by choice like nazis is more interesting.

Well you can have them as officers but it’s that the lore was changed and how it was changed that’s causing problems. Confining cloning to one area that’s taboo but known to some is perfect. You can get plenty stories out of that. Expanding cloning and recruiting strictly from adversarial populations when you don’t have to and it’s counterproductive to do so stupid.

Started a re-watch of Season 1, this was really one of the few things Disney for right for Star Wars. It is just quality.

I'm anxiously hopeful about this...
Andor Season 1 was phenomenal, just great TV. Nevermind the Star Wars part, although it added just so much depth to the Star Wars tale.
I really, really hope they follow up to the level it needs to be.
