I've seen plenty of afros and big hair, but hers just gives me the creeps. I just can't stop thinking about it when she sings. Maybe the stylists will convince her to tone it down somewhat. It's just way over the top.

i just don't get it. i wouldn't listen to that song last night if it was given to me for free.

i blame the judges for tristans performance. last week they said she wasn't "performing" enough. This time she tries to do a little more" performing" and they say she should just sing. how's a 15 yr old supposed to know which way to go?

I think sonika had the best performance of the night.

avalon seems to have dolled herself up a lot. i liked her better before. but, she sings really good.

although "I" would like to see tristan and olivia in the final 2. if i had to pick an eventual winner..

I'd say Dalton wins this thing. He just seems to have the teen girl power vote.

Agreed but she is so far and away more talented than most of the others. Mississippi really represented well this year with her and Trent.


Eyeliner kid needs to go. He will hang around because of the teen girl vote but he is nowhere near as talented as some/most of the others.

is this american idol or judges idol?

why have people vote only to have the judges decide who stays? Yes, i'm butt hurt because one of my favorites went home. But, why not just say, this person got the least amount of votes so they're out? i mean there wasn't much suspense after the 3 performances even though they tried to manufacture suspense.

I still think dalton is the one to beat. although if the judges have their way, they will just hand the title to laporsha and be done with it.

tristan, another strong performance. she should be top 3 at least.

sonika went back to "ok". so, she says she has never had a boyfriend. yet, she picks a song about a bad boyfriend?btw how many 20 yr old women have never had a boyfriend?

i don't get trent making it this far.. same with lee

avalon was really good.

mackenzie did a god job with the whitney song.

i don't think there are an right/wrong opinions.

It's just a matter of taste really.

i would not listen to laporsha,lee,or trent sing for free.

I might pay to see tristan,dalton,avalon or even sonika if she gets it together.
