just spent the last two weeks in France driving all over Provence and the Alps. The Major roads there (A roads) can be toll roads. Every time we pulled up to a toll station I said "you got to pay the Troll Toll". My wife was very confused.

Last night’s episode with the EMT/pepper/chef mess was an old school over-the-top shitshow of hysteria. Liked it better than Frank’s in a coma, tho the payoff in that one at very end was still great. This week’s was a full episode of debauchery.

That episode was a swing and a miss. It was probably more to show that FXX gave them a huge budget so they can do stuff like flip an ambulance

Last night's episode was the best of the season for me. While I like when they get super zany like in the EMT episode, I like it to sort of make sense in that they are doing it as a scheme. It felt sort of random. This episode felt like a classic one, though. Schemes on top of schemes, turning on each other, Charlie butchering something with the English language. You don't realize how much corporate talk is in your life until it is all laid out in front of you.

I’m caught up now. My two favorites are Frank’s in a Coma (ep 2) and Thought Leadership (ep 4). The crazy drug addict in episode 2 was one of the funniest characters they’ve introduced in a bit.
Also, Dee saying “you sound like you’re on the Titanic” on the phone to Charlie while he’s at the gala killed me. We don’t get classic episodes as often as we used to but ep 2 was in the ballpark.

Dog Track (ep 5) was the first one watched in season 17. I am hoping that the first 4 episodes are that funny and edgy.

Sunny is one of my GOATs but my teenage son and I just stared at the screen like, wtf did we just watch?
And we knew where this was heading. It was a Frank thing to do all along. Heck it may have been too far for even Frank. I mean the cake thing was funny but betting on them to do that to a dog was just, um, gross and weird.
Maybe it’s all heading somewhere down the line with Frank being behind much of the mischief so far this season.

I agree. I loved the Charlie and Mac part of the episode, but the Dennis and Dee part was ruined with the dogfood and incoherent screaming. It was very similar to the early episode where they get addicted to crack, but it was pulled off in a much worse way.

Just got caught up on the last two episodes, I've been loving this season. Crazy that it's 2025 and South Park and Sunny are both still crushing it for me.

Feel like it’s best season they’ve had in a while. Not that the past seasons were bad, but this season has been much more consistent in quality. Pretty impressive for a show going on 17 seasons
