Altered Carbon is returning for its second season on Netflix sooner than anyone expected. The official Altered Carbon Twitter account dropped the announcement Tuesday, revealing that all 8 of Season 2's episodes will hit Netflix on February 27th, 2020.

I enjoyed season 1 when it first came out.just this last week I tried a re-watch with my wife in anticipation of season 2. I don’t think it aged well and frankly quit after the 3rd episode.

Please simplify the plot. I liked the series, but it was VERY hard to follow.

A "chip" in the base of the neck maintains the consciousness of the person, if the body is killed it can be put into another body. He was an envoy which was an enhanced soldier/investigator, he turned into a terrorist. He got caught and was sentenced to stasis for eternity. 250 years in the future a mega rich man pulls strings and had him released to investigate who killed him (he had a clone of his body) and had his "chip" backed up every 48 hours. Someone killed him at the end of the 48 hours, so when he came back he had no memory of those 48 hours and wants to know who tried to take him out.

Clear as mud?

Great story line with tons of quality tits and arse.

Unfortunately, it looks like no more Martha Higareda.

I'm rewatching season 1 and forgot just how hot she is. Her body is flawless. She looked amazing in that dress at the party.

She is smoking hot. If you read her wiki she is incredibly smart and driven, and impressive woman.

i just read an article of the differences and i was agreeing most of the way through it. The change to the sister the merger of Falconer and the Envoy trainer, who the envoys really are. yea i agree the book did better. But when the author started bringing up the mistreatment of women is where i started to diverge. I was more offend that they accused rich white men of wanting to do that, over the actual mistreatment of women when sleeves are just like expensive clothing

It's almost time! They release shows at midnight right, so that a little over 24 hours.

When it first came out, I watched the first three episodes and then lost interest.

With Season 2 coming up I gave it another try, and I just finished the whole season. The season got better as it went along, and I really enjoyed it. The story got a little crazy as he solved the mystery. I remember the asian-looking chick from Dollhouse. She's Australian-Nepalese.

S2E1 was decent, setting up what could be a good season. A character I totally didn't expect to see has returned for S2. (The character shows up early in the episode so it's not a spoiler.)

I haven't watched it yet judging by how they they fired the main character for being white and going with Anythony Mackie, I am gonna guess there will be a lesbian power couple in this.
