Trailer looked a little cheap and weak for a hype video, but I'm definitely ready. Enjoyed season 1. Was an easy binge.
He gave it back to his family and that hot arse Mexican Detective pretty much. It's a book thing I've read. Constantly changing out bodies.

This season will be much more difficult to keep to the book. Unless their budget was greatly expanded. Still excited as hell though.

i did. i remember the body kovacs used (joel kinnaman) got to be requainted with it's real owner/soul. he was the cop's boyfriend. then i thought kovacs got to used the clone of himself's body. am i wrong?

I remember thinking to myself “man it’d be tight if I could see this hot chick’s tits” & then cue the next episode with some full frontal action

I think he's originally Asian. Hence the name. I think they showed him in the beginning of the first season taking a shower or something with some girl and the police or someone came in. The technology can basically transmit your conciousness across far distances or store it for a long time and insert into sleeves which are bodies.

Yeah, you're wrong. The clone body, and the mind inside it, were destroyed as punishment for all the crimes he'd committed. The body he had been using was returned to the cop's boyfriend and he got a new body. That's why the final scene only showed his back from the neck down.

First season had so much promise and ended up being such a dud. The writing was pretty piss poor after about the 3rd or 4th episode (whichever is the one where he breaks out of virtual torture).

Excited for the next season. I just hope that the story line is easier to follow this time. They had WAY TOO MUCH shite going on in the first one.

i don't go out of my way to see boobies as it's usually unneeded, but between yennifer and ortega, netflix is going to get me in trouble

Hmm, guess they solved the issue of paying for the plot of the second book by skipping straight to the third book. Going to be weird seeing them adapt this one given the changes they made in the first one. Not really a fan of bringing the hotel AI back, doesn't make much sense.

Ortega was one hell of a firecracker.
She may be absolutely insane in bed but for a real relationship going off her personality, I think fights and general relationship drama with her would be downright abusive with me getting the business end of that.
