Season 10
Headed to Northern Saskatchewan this season.
I want to pick Lee Ray Dewilde to win but he is 59 y/o so I doubt he has the stamina.

I went hunting up there twice in November. It is cold as hell up there.

My kids & I are massive fans of this show/concept.

Lee looks young for 59. If his kids are grown, could be a good contender. Any time someone has multiple young kids, I automatically handicap them.

Sweet, thanks for the heads up. The one "reality" show on TV that is actually real/not scripted.
Just doing a quick scan over the bio's, and I think I got two people I can mark off as not going to win. Melanie, the former model that used food rations for two of her items, so you know she can't hunt. And Mike Olsen, the only person who didn't bring a ferro rod. Doing a friction fire in the freezing cold and rain is just dumb, it never works out in the long run.

you can add Cade Cole to the list who decided to take a fricking bar of soap. Unless he knows something about utilizing soap to catch food, that's a stupid arse decision to bring soap.
Why would you even ask someone like Melanie on this show? She's taking the spot of someone who actually wants to participate in the contest to win it, not to go on vacation and be on tv.

Wonder if he's related to Ricko Dewilde from Life Below Zero.

Not surprisingly, her bio is like three times longer than the guys

I was wondering if he knows something I don’t or if he is just dumb.

I think they want one or two people to tap early. Makes editing a lot easier and gives you something to focus on at the end of episode 1 or 2.

Did season 9 ever make it to Netflix? We love the show but after getting rid of cable/satellite we never saw that season.

I started re-watching season 1 yesterday. I'm ready for another season

I see people have "Food Rations" as part of their kit. Was this always allowed, or is it something new?

She used two slots for food rations. I wonder how much they allow for one slot.

They've had it before. I've seen someone with beef jerky in the past and I think even chocolate.

Seems like every year there’s at least one girl that has the temperament to do well, despite seeming like an unlikely participant.
They just roll with it and outlast 75% of the other people there until they get medically yanked.

This dude is my pick for first to tap.
He's a glass artist and consults on medical cannabis farming. He is brining salt and a shovel but no axe.
I really wanted to pick this guy to win
But I read this part-
He's not making it far enough to win with all that at home.
I'm going with my initial pick.
Barring some freak accident like a broken ankle I think Lee and his old man strength win.

He’s from Huslia also. They have to be related. Rico DeWilde and his kids are some of the best TV moments around. Although the story about his brother dying after shooting his finger off just tore me up inside. Team DeWilde!
