it seems like kids today only get animated movies, I grew up in an era that had plenty of great kid's movies that still hold up incredibly well today...
-Rookie of the Year
-Mighty Ducks
-Sandlot
-Little Giants
-Little Rascals

just a few examples.

eta: and this guy has to be joking, no way he's dumb enough to have never caught this.

Let me get this straight. an awkward teen without a hint of athletic ability injures his shoulder, recovers with a magical arm, attends a cubs game, happens to catch a homerun (from the visiting team), throws it back, the org. just so happens to take notice of his talent, he makes the big league club immediately, becomes an ace in a matter of weeks, and magically loses his arm strength .. and you take exception to the fact that a balk wasnt called?? WOW

I think it's about time we over analyze the shite out of Little Rascals.

You realize you know where your parents are sitting at the game? Or like your family seats are. It's really not so outlandish.

The 3 R's

Rest
Recouperation
And conditioning

The most unfathomable thing in that movie is that the Cubs would actually win a world series

The remake (I'm assuming)? Not sure I'd be down for that. I thought of doing another one a while back, but can't remember the movie. Something sports related though, maybe like Teen Wolf. Lots to bitch about and analyze with that one.

naa, you have to take something more "realistic" like the Little Giants or something.

the whole werewolf theme makes you kinda have to suspend reality in the first place.

It has the same exact plot as Twister, another movie released the same year. I saw them on back to back weekends.

Suprised it took Henry until his senior year at East Great Falls high to get laid. You would of thought being an ex-Chicago Cub would of got him more action.

The overanalyzation doesn't stem from the suspension of reality. It stems from the inconsistencies in that universe after you suspend reality.
