Said it before, but Peele is basically M. Night Shyamalan 2.0.

One twist-filled pretty good movie, then a long, slow death decline after that, but the studio keeps throwing money at the dude thinking it will turn around.

I don’t think to was a bad movie, but it wasn’t great either.

I enjoyed it, but it’s not a movie I really have any desire to watch again.

We aren’t supposed to talk about it, but if we are honest we all know why it got the acclaim it did. And that’s not a knock of Jordan Peele, it’s not his fault.

Get Out was very very very good. Everything else is dog shite he's done though. Most sane human beings would agree with me.

I enjoyed all three personally, but Get Out and Nope were both significantly better movies than Us.

And the people complaining about the absurdity of these movies are completely missing the point.

People need to stop using "Jordan Peele" and "Genius" in the same sentence.

It was pretty good, but I am convinced that Jordan Peele's moviemaking career is propped up by white people feeling bad that they are white.

Get out was fricking terrible. It wasn't at all scary or funny and that includes the stereotypical, loud mouthed working class "black friend". Just a shite movie all the way around.

This.
Sammytiger thought it was the greatest movie of all time

The movies are caricatures of social topics. They’re designed to draw your attention to them through absurdity and dark humor. The ridiculousness is the point.

All I’ll say is the people who post consistently about not liking his movies on this board and people who post regularly on the politics board are roughly the same circle

I mean, we all know that.

I think he was hoping you had something more subtle.

Peele is not good at satire. His messages are ham-fisted and obvious.

Get Out is great. Us was meh.

It is always hilarious coming into the Movie Board and seeing people shite on Get Out when the whole premise is it laughing at liberal whites and pointing out how liberal whites are extraordinarily racist.

But we have some classic anti-woke people coming in here consistently to defend the anti-white liberal premise of the plot and movie

Some on the Movie/TV Board have worked their way into a shoot. Yall have become the woke.
