Not that there aren’t 70000 guys out there perfecting their Rick and Morty impression.
That’s what they should do, have tryouts and hire the best impersonator. Journey did it for Steve Perry and they’re still touring.

Domestic abuse and talking to little girls I think.
Bit more serious than that.

Roiland faces one felony count of domestic battery with corporal injury and one felony count of false imprisonment by menace, violence, fraud and/or deceit
quote:
California is one of the few states that use the term “corporal injury.” Under California law, an injury is a corporal one if:
the traumatic condition was the natural and probable consequence of the physical injury,
the injury was a direct and substantial factor in causing the traumatic condition, and
but for the injury, the traumatic condition would not have happened.
Some examples include:
a bullet wound,
a broken bone or fracture,
a bruise,
a concussion,
a sprained ligament or strained muscle,
a cut or laceration, or
internal bleeding.
Some injuries and other losses that are not corporal injuries include:
emotional distress,
post-traumatic stress,
property damage, or
pain from physical contact that did not leave a mark or cause internal injuries.
Tacking on corporal injury means more than threats of violence; it implies they have enough evidence to believe he injured the person. The second charge implies he made them feel too scared to leave.

What would you call a black eye?

All the people saying Harmon will ruin the show, Roiland hasn't written for the show since season 1 so not losing anything there

Hulu dropped him today too. Which is a shame because Solar Opposites has been better than the last couple seasons of Rick and Morty.

That means he can edit any line or page.
Just look at "Solar Opposites", and you can see whose hand is in "Rick and Morty"
Again, they will get through next season with a few sound-a-likes, but the show will be noticeably different without Roiland helming it.
It'll be like the season (4?) they took Community from Harmon. Show almost folded, and they had to get him back. Harmon only wrote 7 or 8 episodes of the show. . .but when he was gone, the difference almost killed the show.
"Rick and Morty" has a Holy Trinity of sorts: Dan Harmon is the nerdy comedy guy, Justin Roiland is the character and edgy, Mike McMahan is the sci-fi comedy guy.
Remove Roiland, you are left with Community meets Lower Decks. So, basically lighthearted Vindicators. . .minus the cynicism.

Roiland was the creative force behind the show while Dan Harmon kept him from going too far off the rails. It will only last one more season at best.

I'm so sad about Solar Opposites.

Idk I’ve watched so many Dan Harmon shows that I recognize his sense of humor and style everywhere in the R&M. It’s clearly not just him keeping Roiland in line.
