He's nobody without Tarantino casting him as an angry black man, the only thing he can play, in multiple films.

Robert Pattinson may also be on the list, but j haven’t seen his work outside of twilight and Tenet.

His stand up is decent, but his movies are garbage and I can't go 10 minutes without seeing his annoying arse in some lame commercial or promo.

Not a popular take but I also agree with Brad Pitt and Tom Hardy. I think Brad Pitt is a high school level actor and nobody can convince me otherwise, and despite his looks he's wooden and boring as shite. Tom Hardy was everybody's man crush for a while but it seems like all he ever does is stare menacingly while mumbling something in some random voice
Amen. I've never understood the love for Pitt, I think he's awful. Hardy can be great when he isn't artificially forcing some nonsensical and unnecessary accent into the role.

I don’t see how you could watch Moneyball and tell me with a straight face that Brad Pitt can’t act

This is the correct answer at least for modern times. Kid would never be even a supporting actor if it wasn’t for his dad.

Wrote Superbad, so no that makes sense. Don’t like him as a person, but he was at one time genuinely funny.

He's low-key funny. I liked him in Hot Tub Time Machine.

As far as someone I can't stand is Melissa McCarthy. She's a closeted bull dike that has the cringiest style of "comedy".

Moneyball was his best performance but it wasn't an amazing performance. Kind of agree that he's over-rated. Reminds me a lot of Kevin Costner.

I'm sure I'll get downvoted since this board loves Scott Pilgrim but he was thrown into a bunch of movies and his schtick got old really fast.

Nah, in the right role he's gold. The problem is he insists on playing every role but the everyman role which is the one that is in his wheelhouse.

I've never been a fan of his acting, always feels like he's basically a slightly different version of himself. I don't hate him at all, just don't think he's got much range for an actor. Surprisingly I found the best acting I've seen him do was at a younger age in Friday Night Lights

My vote is Drew Barrymore

Michael B Jordan sucks, and is forced down our throat, but for some reason we all like him anyways.

Has Amy Schumer and Lean Dunham been mentioned yet?

They're the epitome of this for me. With both of them, it seemed like they came from nowhere, seemingly had little to no talent, but the media(and social media) couldn't stop talking about either one of them.

Thankfully, it seems to have finally passed with both of them.

I liked him in Friday Night Lights and Black Panther. Not a fan of him in the Creed movies though.
