Derrick Luke. Seemed like he was in a lot of great movies for a stretch then disappeared.

Also Ed Norton. Loved everything he was in but had a fairly short run.

Also Julia Stiles. Somewhat of a child actor, but it seems she became the token white chick in interracial movies then her career disappeared.

Didn't fade. He chose to leave the business behind. Didn't like the crazy fame if I remember right.

Dude turned down Superman and Christopher Nolans Batman.

He made quite the comeback with Penny Dreadful.

Brendan Fraser is about to make a comeback. He is starring in "The Whale" an upcoming movie directed by Darren Aronofsky where he will play a 600 lb obese man.

The first name that came to mind for me was M/TV Board Favorite JGL.

He had a solid run. I think he's into directing and stuff now but I could be wrong.

Seth Rogen. Had a decent stretch of comedies from 2005-2008 or so. Then kept making shittier and shittier movies.

ETA: I guess he didn’t really fade away. He just started to suck really bad.

Seems like we need some reference points.
Tobey: 15 year run, 8 years since last.

Wiliam Peterson was a legit huge name movie star who helmed two of the best films of the mid-1980s....then poof, it was gone.

He was a supporting character in Young Guns 2 a couple years later, then he was in TV movies in the 90s.

I don't count CSI. Most of the population under 60 didn't even know that show was on the air.

I’d go with Eliza Dushku.

She still does work but not nearly as prominent as her late 90s-early 2000s run of being in Buffy, the New Guy, Bring it On, and Wrong Turn.

David Caruso-----had a 20 year run in film from 1980-2001 and television parts until 05 and nothing since.

Oh, and Jane Lynch was great in "Two And A Half Men" as the psychiatrist Charlie was seeing.

There was like a four year stretch where it seemed like Hollywood was determined to make Jai Courtney a star

I do like him as captain Boomerang though

Fail.
quote:

CSI was the seventh-longest-running scripted U.S. primetime TV series overall and had been recognized as the most popular dramatic series internationally by the Festival de Télévision de Monte-Carlo, which awarded the series the International Television Audience Award (Best Television Drama Series) three times.[33][35] CSI became the second-most watched show on American television by 2002,[36] finally taking the top position for the 2002–2003 season. It was later named the most watched show in the world for the sixth time in 2016, making it the most watched show for more years than any other show.

1. He didn’t peak for a short time.
2. He didn’t fade.
He’s been working solidly for over 20 years.
