Actors are the same person in real life as they portray in movies

After thinking about it, most actors are the same person in real life as they portray in movies. How I see them in interviews, the reports I hear of them. They are nearly identical to the roles they play in movies.
Chris Farley - ridiculous guy that drank too much and drugs in movies
Leo Dicaprio - Scummy entitled prick that goes for younger women (Wolf of Wall Street)
Christian Bale - Badass or what people refer to as Sigma male today. Doesn't care what others think (Batman)
George Clooney - self righteous prick that think he's awesome
Robin Williams - great guy who you could tell had some deep depression in his movies, too good for this world (1 hour Photo, others)
Nicholas Cage - eclectic guy who does weird endeavors
Ben Affleck - See George Clooney
Phillip Seymour Hoffman - obese guy who drinks and drugs way too much in movies and real life (many movies he plays this role). See Chris Farley
Tom Cruise - guy who is super into scientology and science fiction action movies (Day after tomorrow, Oblivion, Minority Report)
Robert De Niro - self righteous prick (nearly every movie he's in)
Alec Baldwin - self righteous prick. See Robert De Niro. (nearly every movie he's in)
Nearly all of these people play the exact same role as they are in real life. The only examples I can think of that aren't are Keanu Reeves in Knock, Knock, and Matt McCaughnahay when he started doing more serious movies like Interstellar.

You can only think of two examples of all movies in the history of the world where people don’t portray someone who is like their real life persona?
You have to be joking, right?

I hear Brad Pitt also eats IRL, just like all of his characters.

It's reassuring to know your takes on this board are as retarded as your takes on all the other boards.

OP didn’t see Capote or Twister.
Rare is it that actors are level headed and fully functional individuals. They pretend for a living then many act out even further to vent off steam.
This list could apply to most.

Unfortunately, Peter Dante (The Wedding Singer,Grandma's Boy, Grown Ups 2) had a couple of bad public situations and Adam Sandler had to cut ties with him, ala TJ Miller. Dude sank his career.
Half his character names were 'Dante'.
Actually playing himself.

Billy Bob Thornton is like John Wayne. Film-wise you can try to take him out of his element but it always winds up being his element
