What if the guy doesnt have a "side" and doesn't look at politics in such a simpleton way like little kids watching professional wresting and picking the good guys and the bad guys?

It does

It does. He left zero doubt in his meaning, his position or intent on lying to the viewing public to push an agenda that the Right is predominantly the source & cause of the violence in the country.

Most see it. I can’t help you if you don’t.

I did not quote him directly despite putting quotations around it which was unintentionally misleading so that’s my bad. I thought I stated what he said, but I did mess up the wording.

Again, what he said was very bad, and ABC has every right to fire or take him off air because of it. I just don’t think the government should be involved in things at all.

Everybody has a side.

The one's who try to say they aren't left or right are really left (especially after one of "them" are accused of murdering someone on the right).

So, your logic is that if you pick a side in politics you are a "simpleton"? Or, what you are really saying is if you pick the "Right" side, you are a "simpleton"?

Because they don't actually give a frick, these so called free speech warrior were always disingenuous about what they claimed.

ABC has now been on record of saying they didn't think his comments were a fireable offense however the added pressure by the FCC forced them to. Now we have the president trying to get NBC to fire their own hosts.

The real problem is the government including the FCC working to get people fired who went against the grain. But they'll just firmly plant their heads in the sand or try to pretend like this isn't new

“Jimmy Kimmel Live! will be preempted indefinitely,” an ABC spokesperson told Rolling Stone today. The spokesperson did not clarify the reason behind the decision.

This is them not saying anything on record as to the reasoning.

quote:

In the hours leading up to the decision to pull Kimmel, two sources familiar with the matter say, senior executives at ABC, its owner Disney, and affiliates convened emergency meetings to figure out how to minimize the damage. Multiple execs felt that Kimmel had not actually said anything over the line, the two sources say, but the threat of Trump administration retaliation loomed.

This is the reporter using "sources" not named and not on record. Y'all are literally immune to actually telling the full truth.

That's simply not true, and yes it's a simpleton mindset. I promise you that I don't have a side and I don't have pronouns (us, them, our, their).

I understand that human beings have a subconsious desire to belong to a larger group and a righteous cause, but politics ain't the place to find it.

I blame it on declining church attendance and declining participation in civic clubs in America, which is why so many people these days finding religiosity in politics.

People need to wake up.

I for one, am shocked a company that just had to settle a huge political defamation case, is not very accomodating for a blatantly inflamatory and untruthful statement made on air in the immediate aftermath of a political assassination. Shocked I tell you.

It’s always the same pattern when they do something awful

Double down
Spread falsities and propaganda
Play victim
False equivalencies
Accuse the other side of what they do

It’s tactics, they don’t mean or believe anything they say
