Certainly not a movie I’ll see in a theater
Then you’re missing out.
Wife and I went see it a few days ago and it absolutely killed. Hardest I’ve laughed in a theater in years.
Tim Robinson absolutely nails the cringe awkward funny and Rudd does his normal brilliant Rudd thing.
Comedy gold

Wife and I have been quoting the "i'm too nervous" bit non-stop since we saw it. Loved the movie.
My favorite line of the movie..
“Did you find what you were looking for?”
“NO!! I ORDERED A SANDWICH!!!”

I just watched this. People are calling it "hilarious" and shite and I can see that but I wouldn't describe it that way. I would call it a damn good and entertaining movie that had bouts of funny moments. Every time he would get angry and rage, I found to be fantastic. Very solidly made movie.
Between this and Death of a Unicorn, Paul Rudd is getting these little small roles in before he has to schlep his arse to Atlanta for 8 months to "do a Marvel" iykyk
Top 5 movie of 2025 for me so far.

I know this will be wildly unpopular on here so bring on the downvotes but I just don't thing Tim Robinson's schtick is all that funny.

I think even the most die-hard Tim fans have to admit that his style of humor isn't for everybody.

I watched this last night. I didn't find it hilarious, but I did find it pretty enjoyable. As with most of Robinson's stuff, most of the humor doesn't hit with me, but when it does hit, it hits hard - the toad/Subway trip and the comment and then following facial expression about 25 and 18 year old boys and girls being examples of things I found pretty funny in the movie.
I’ll just end it on this- we should still be in Afghanistan.

Biggest takeaway is that Kate Mara looks incredible even when trying to make her seem plain.

Loved it. Cant wait to watch it a second time and pick up on all the subtleties. Was a pretty dense film with a lot of symbolism

Added to HBO Max today

Watched last night. GF and I laughed throughout. Robinson is such a clown in the best way possible. I think I laughed the hardest at "ahh theres frickin blood in it" after he pukes into the cup after eating the poisonous mushrooms.

Just watched this. There are some many weird, subtle things in it but you can't help but laugh at it. Like when the son kisses his mom on the lips and Tim is just staring at them like wtf.
