it wasn't in theater, but it was either Robocop or The Lost Boys.

American Warewolf in Paris. I was 13. We didnt go to the theater a lot when I was younger. My buddies dad bought us tickets and dropped us off. I think I was 12 or 13.

End of Days (1999) with Arnold Schwarzenegger was the next one.

Only thing I remember was in the credits when Arnold's name came up on the credit he says out loud, Arnold Swhwarzenigger".

Basic Instinct. My friend and I were adolescent boys desperate to get a peak at this movie so we told our parents that we wanted to get dropped off at the movies to see the Addams Family, bought tickets for the Addams Family and snuck in with the hoards of people that went in to see Basic Instinct when it first came out.

It was packed. We made sure we sat in the middle of the row so we wouldn’t get caught. It was enjoyable.

This was my first too. Dad didn't realize how bad it was going to be. I still remember the awkward silence in the car before he leans in and tell me..."Let's keep this from your mom"

Also I remember a mom taking her three, young kids to see Jackass 2. She noped them the hell out of the theater when they started drinking horse semen

Actually my very first doesn’t exactly count. My mom took a bunch of us kids from the neighborhood to see The Natural in 1984 when it first came out. We go sit down with our popcorn in a sparsely populated theaters several adults turning and looking at us.

Then the opening of Children of the Corn begins to play. We quickly left and found the correct theater. My mom was very embarrassed. But we didn’t miss any of The Natural.

I’m not sure they started using the R rating before I was old enough to buy a ticket.

I’m not sure about that.
Anyway, I remember seeing Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. Lots of boobs and sexy girls telling guys to “shed their laundry” and get in bed. I was entertained
