Right. We had kids and sick people survive a blizzard sleeping under a wagon yet a couple can't survive in a car?
They should have huddled together at least.

Does anyone think Bannon is turning on his boss?
Would he ever approach Dutton for a deal and he gets some land out of it?

I think Bannon is caught between a rock and a hard place. He can't turn to Jacob for a truce because they have way too much bad blood.
As for Whitfield, I'm guessing Lindy will turn on Whitefield and take him out.

The preview shows him & Jacob talking, but at this point, I think he’s in too deep with creepy McCreepster.

The most wtf moment for me was Jack being stupid enough to tell complete strangers out in the woods that he was headed to the train station and was Spencer's brother.
The wbole damn purpose of the Duttons going to the train station was that they knew Banner's men would be waiting for him.
So why the hell would you tell random strangers you met riding to the train station that you were the brother??

I listened to a deep dive podcast yesterday and they were saying how stupid that was of rainwater to tell her that she was free because they killed the agent and then started a fire. He knew the priest was still out there. It ended up not mattering because the priest didn’t go far, but still
Also, they said Rainwater in season one of Yellowstone said he grew up thinking he was Mexican and he was adopted
They think the girl will head south to Mexico and that’s where the rainwater will be established.

I'm not sure they thought the Priest was with them As I recall, Father Renoud sent three of his priests to track her down and of course they were all killed, She and her father knew she was wanted by the law, but I don't think they realized that the Marshall order Father Renoud to accompany them. As far as they knew, once the Marshall was found dead they were safe.

I started watching it through episode 5 and came to the consensus that something is clearly wrong with TS mind because he’s a sick frick for what he’s included in 1923.

I'm losing a lot of respect for Timothy Dalton too.

It's really disgusting the more you think about it. You think in filming, when they film these scenes, everybody's like, "Uhh, okay if this is your vision Taylor...." Or are they like, "Aww hell yeah, let's beat this girl's arse."
Just really wild to think, some set designer got this job and was like hell yeah, working on a western! Can't wait for my vision of 1920's Montana living to come to life...... Shows up to work and Sheridan is like oh, and in this particular storyline, we're going to have this character brainwash a girl and they're going to graphically rape/kill multiple's over the course of two seasons. Please help me bring that to life.

How do you even approach a young actress for that role?
“Hey, so we need a young attractive blonde to play a nameless hooker who gets sadistically and sexually tortured for no reason relevant to the plot. Does that sound like something you’re interested in to begin your career?”

The scenes are really unnecessary. Especially the last episode. Disgusting. Too bad no one is publicly calling him out on it.

There are thousands of young aspiring actresses in Hollywood who who kill for that role. They didn't have to approach anyone. They lined up to audition for it.

Agreed this show has gone off the deep end regarding women.

Finished episode 6. I get it that 1923 is not supposed to be for children, but TS doesn’t have to make the series full of torture porn and disgusting rape scenes that don’t add anything to the storyline. 1923 really makes 1883, Landman, and Yellowstone look like Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood. That’s a feat!
I agree with y’all. Alex is like Jonah on the boat. She’s nothing but bad luck to everyone around her including herself. The impossibilities of her travel experiences are laughable. Hell, Spencer’s too. I can’t believe that this was what life was like in 1924.
I hate that butt ugly Indian girl so much and wish she would die or at least lose a limb, but I know TS loves him some Indian squaw so that wont happen.
RIP Chicago couple for donating your lives to drive someone you barely know 1500 miles in the middle of a snowstorm. Yes, I’ll keep watching to the end.
Edit: It occurred to me last night. What is TS’s infatuation with women being shown using the bathroom in his shows?
1. In 1883, there was the women that was snake bitten while using the restroom
2. Alex’s train car roommate
3. Alex and the wife on the side of the road
I may be missing more, but this isn’t a coincidence.

Agree 100%
Someone needs to take a long hard look at Sheridan. He's demented.

And of course the Indian girl had to be raped and beaten. Alex is beaten and robbed. Chinese woman beaten. Every woman but the old woman goes through some kind of rape or torture

I'm not saying this isn't true, he's clearly got issues. But in this current age of Hollywood, the need to be edgy seems to be the only way people watch anymore. He's just taken it to a sick arse level.
