The only I agree with are the suit and the final fight comparisons.

So I'm not the only one that likes Nicholson's Joker better than Ledger's? I have always been fearful to admit as much as I fully expected to be murdered in my sleep by a hardcore fanboy. I will admit, however, that I've never read a comic book and would just assume mow my yard than to watch an animated Batman series. So take it for what it's worth.

i appreciate both joker's in the context of the specific film universes they were in. Both actors did a splendid job.

I really cant/wont compare the two. It's apples and oranges

That Batman was a typical Burton flick. If he could have, Bruce Wayne would have been sporting scissor hands at one point.

I think I like the video game more than the movie itself. It really is cheesy.

Nicholson may have been playing himself, but can you pick a better actor to embody the Joker besides him?

No, Nicholson's persona is perfect for the role but I agree that the script was too silly.

I'm just glad they called out TDK for being so impossible. The Joker did stuff that Al Qaeda couldn't dream of doing.

I know, it's almost like they were making movies based on a comic book or something.

I just skim through the article. This guys sounds like he's a Burton lap dog and he's bending over backwards to make it seem that TB Batman is superior.

Somebody could write the exact same review and just flip the movies, that was %100 opinion to the max. Not sure why I read it

the only valid point he made was tghe musical score was better under burton. but I don't think musical scores are as important or hyped as they were in the 90's.

I almost feel bad for Jack. He had a classic role in movie history and then Nolan/ledger came around and made him look like an amateur. You just have to remember context. They are definitely two entirely different series.

It's a hard article to read. I skimmed through a lot as well.

Great article...

- Keaton was the better Batman .. Bale was the better Bruce Wayne
See i totally agree with the first part but the 2nd i feel is wrong. Bale just sucked giving that fake arse speach clearing his house and at the diner table.

Keaton was great at his house with Vale's question, and when Arliss was talking about all the statues. the "I bought it in Japan" line was great. He was so reclusive as Wayne and i loved that about him.
