I watched a couple last night.

Basically at this point it’s a bunch of kids turning on each other due to a lawsuit.

Started second season, like a previous poster stated, they are going through the trial. Not very good so far. Could be possibly setting up for a school shooting as two kids are making IEDs and shootIng guns.

Finished it, good ducking god could they end it in a more dumbass way. The show took a lot of heat for bringing kids to suicide last year, this year they just plan want to get kids killed with that bullshite ending.

I don't work on fridays or the weekend normally. 4-10s is a nice schedule. Binged a lot on friday and finished it up on Saturday.

Just had it playing on my second computer on my desk while I did other things.

I haven’t finished yet, but Clay has been really pissing me off with the needless lying.

I get he is dealing with serious shite, but he is making problems for himself for no reason at times.

Exhibit A: explicitly lie about emotional issues with a girlfriend is ALWAYS gonna bite you in the arse

Spoilers....

Did anyone feel uncomfortable while watching scenes where they may as well have been filming pron? these are high school aged portrayed characters. I get the "awareness" message, but some of that could have been delivered a different way IMO

The scene in the bathroom with Tyler when he comes back....YIKES! That was on level with watching Hannah slice her self in season 1. I don't say that as to compare situations. Just the amount of discomfort I had watching.

ETA: I also felt like they glorified being rich will get you out of anything.

I know it is a TV show but christ it seems every one of these kids parents is god awful. Clay's probably being the worst of the bunch.

Although Tyler's cop father taking him and his trenchcoat mafia buddy to practice shooting guns is probably the worst offense.

Well, at least they follow through with the kids following their lead making frickimg stupid calls as well. “Don’t call the police?” Are you fricking serious?

In spite of the slightly cracked door they left at the end (and my past expressed opinions on if this season being something they should do being wrong), I really liked how they wrapped storylines and closed arcs at the end. The dance song, while predictable, still hit as hard as the ending of the Clay tape.

Great moves artistically and narratively.

Trying to arc it out again just reeks of jumping the shark though.

I think they were playing off the Affluenza stuff with that, so yeah there was a real case where the guy got off because he was rich. It's not like they reach for that one.

The cop buddy calling them clips was pretty cringy. It's fricking magazines, you are suppose to be knowledgeable.

That ending makes me sick, they are gonna get someone shot over this is what Hannah would of wanted nonsense. And then sneaking Tyler away with Tony, this is based in Cali. The kids should be all over the gun restrictions nonsense.

Two episodes in and it's pretty bad. This is coming from someone who loved season 1.

Spoilers below

I found the season to be bad early on and really thought it picked up and was very good in the last half until the final scene.

The ending was so out of place and weird that I am convinced it was changed last second due to the Parkland School shootings.

In the last scene Tyler just leaves in Tonys car, but leaves his own car and his huge gun behind. It was a jump the shark moment to me. If they are doing a season 3, they are going to have to act like this scene was a Clay flash of what he should have done and have the actual shooting happen. Otherwise the whole show becomes totally unbelievable going forward.

Anyways, still enjoyed it. Acting is really good.
