I do not think Lebron has any talent whatsoever in baseball or tennis or soccer

I think it’s a little ridiculous to assume this. He was the #1 rated football player in Ohio his junior year, he’s not just some tall lumbering basketball center. He has handles and can shoot, to think that he couldn’t excel in another sport besides basketball is pretty dumb. The idea that some rando like Matt Scharff could beat him in something like pickle ball is ridiculous

Lebron looks like a barely functioning special person trying to swing a baseball bat

He would suck at any racquet sport

I think most people define athleticism with the traditional run/jump explosive traits, not hand eye more skill based stuff. The truly special ones are the athletes who have both at a high level. Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders come to mind

Just from watching that 2 second clip I can see that he has coordination but clearly has never played baseball. Give LeBron a few weeks of training and I bet he could figure it out.

And regardless I’m not talking about baseball, pickleball is barely a sport and doesn’t take near the coordination of baseball. Lebron would dominate it, in fact I would wager my life saving that if Lebron quick basketball and dedicated himself to pickle ball he would be the greatest pickleball player on the planet

maybe, but the fact that he looks that silly swinging a bat (same with golf), doesn't bode well for him being any good at other sports.

Some people can watch others play a sport they've never played and are capable of mimicking them in a way that they look somewhat smooth, even if they aren't good at the sport just yet. That's an athlete.

Maybe Tom Brady has played tennis before, maybe he hasn't, but i bet you he looks like he knows what he's doing swinging a racket. Lebron probably looks silly. Same with a guy like Bo Jackson. I bet he could play tennis. I bet Charles Barkley would look silly.

I dk how you see that swing and think he looks unathletic. He turns his hips, gets speed on the bat and follows through. He looks like what an athletic kid looks like the first time they swing a bat. He clearly has mobility and coordination but no idea how to hit a ball because he hasn’t done it.

Lebron is not Charles Barkley

Go look at Patrick Peterson when he first started playing golf

Go look at LeBron

They aren’t the same. Some guys have the natural sense to play sports that require the skillset of coordination of the body in a hand eye swinging state

Lebron is a physical freak but he doesn’t have the above . Could he improve at it? Of course

But their are people that have never swung a baseball bat that would look far better than LeBron

Picked the wrong player, Lebron seems like he would be a fairly successful multi-sport athlete

He needed to pick one of those lanky NBA guys that can't throw a football or would bounce a first pitch halfway to the plate

I don't know how you see that swing and think he looks athletic.

JR Smith never swung a golf club until he was well into his nba career.
His swing looks nothing like Lebron's.
Lebron looks like he just finished working out and is very stiff and cumbersome in his swing.
JR's swing looks like a professional golfers swing.

Matt is one of the reasons I stopped watching Good Good a few years ago. The guy is obnoxious as hell.

I watched back in the GM_golf days & it was OK back then, immature, but it fit when they were all just teenagers.

Now it's a grown man acting like an exaggerated caricature of his teenage self
It's ridiculous

So you think this random YouTube dude is more athletic than LeBron because LeBron is bad at baseball?

I’ve always wanted to compete in something like this, for example 10 of the most common sports. I play a lot of sports and while I’m nowhere near professional in any of them, my false sense of confidence makes me believe I could beat most people and perhaps even LeBron when combining results from all of them.

I’ve even come close to suggesting a TD completion where something like 4 weekends during year are planned to cover 10 sports. Minimum participation of 7 to qualify for overall title. Some team sports like basketball might need individual adjustments, whether 1on1 or skills that can be objectively scored such as those old school hot shots games.

Football
Basketball
Baseball
Hockey
Golf
Tennis
Soccer

I’m beating LeBron 5-2 with ease

I love how you hand pick a few sports you think he’d be bad at to prove your point

I also doubt you beat him in soccer 1 on 1.

Hand pick a few sports? I picked the most popular sports in the world

I’ll add all I can think of

Swimming
Track and field
Cricket
Ping pong
Skiing

What else you want me to add? I’m going to win 70% plus of the sports vs LeBron

Now you pick someone like an NFL qb, or short stop, or even a Steph curry and I’m getting crushed in pretty much every sport besides tennis
