In ULM’s defense this applies to every school in the state not named LSU.

I do go to a lot of games. Baseball too. I even go to away games now and then. But LSU/Ole Miss was big.

Had a buddy that went to the game on Saturday that took some pictures of his kids at field level and sent them to a group text I’m in. It looked like there were maybe 500 people in the stands in the picture. I bet Neville has more in attendance. I would say West Monroe but I know they do. It was a little discouraging to say the least. I think I heard attendance was like 21K. From what I saw there was no way that could be accurate. Did attendance boost last year when they got on their winning streak? All I know as a player would be bummed to see so many empty seats.

Bryant Vincent is a real deal coach, ULM lucked out big time with him. He's also doing it when the school is financially in a hole meanwhile operating a tiny budget. If they can avoid injuries unlike last year, they can have a great season.

Attendance wasn't that bad actually. Lower half of the home stand was filled out pretty good. There is so many paid tickets that stand along the endzones and drink beer. So you can't really judge it by who is in the stands. If they can avoid injuries like last year and get close to that six win mark you'll actually see some decent attendance.
One of the coolest moments as a sports fan I've had is seeing ULM fill out Malone Stadium vs Baylor in 12/13.

Ya I was at that game it was wild. Not one empty seat. Place was maxed out. Very entertaining game even tho we lost I think like 47-42

ULM should have won that game, they kept getting turnovers then stalling. Remember like it was yesterday.
