Maple Leafs trying to Maple Leaf. Except for one shift from the Tavares-Matthews-Marner line period was totally dominated by Tampa even though Toronto had the only two power plays. Samsonov is the only reason this game is scoreless.

The fact that Player Safety didn’t even fricking fine him for the most dangerous hit in hockey is a joke. They obviously care significantly more about the injury than the hit itself, which is inexcusable.
They better revisit it given the gravity of the injury itself. That’s not good for Cogs long term…

I was at a LA HS playoff baseball game, so I just saw the Cogs news. I’m fricking seething and Player Safety needs to announce a hearing for Eberle ASAP.
The conspiracy theories (and legitimate ones from Avalanche faithful if they don’t) will run rampant if they do not. You CANNOT suspend Makar without suspending Eberle for at least the same amount of time (and it should be longer given the fact that the hit itself was dirty/what NHL wants out of the game, not just that it was late).
