Zero threat from lines 3-4 can’t even control the puck
Georgie keeping them in this now

Absolutely. Seattle deserves to win this series.

We need 92.

Yup. Series was over after game 3 even though the Avs won that game.

Wild last 90 seconds.

Way to go, Kraken!

No call vs goal wound up the difference.

Seattle deserves to win this series, but the refs dictated the outcome of this game.

Are you talking about the MacKinnon play? Regardless of the call, if MacKinnon doesn’t throw a fit like a pussy NBA player, it doesn’t lead to a goal the other way.

What a predictable collapse by the Avs. They are a team, THIS year, built for the regular season. Regardless of whether they win this series or not , they won’t get past hungrier teams with production down the lines and they had better pick up some grit and scoring on the bottom two lines in the offseason.

This is what is happening against the Kraken, who are crazy deep. They have exactly 1 goal scorer with more than 25 goals, and he’s out with a concussion right now. Everyone else, is virtually the same player. No superstars, but nobody sucks.

So much is being said about what the Avs are NOT doing in this series versus what the Kraken ARE doing… and what they are doing is pretty impressive. They didn’t even pick up anyone at the trade deadline. They just said, nah… we’re good. And they rolled with the depth strategy.

Yanni Gourde? Undrafted. Brandon Tanev? Undrafted. That AHL rookie who scored a goal last night? Undrafted. It’s nuts.

Kraken are a great story.

Avs look tired this whole series.

Kraken play reminds me of the Cup winning Blues team - they just grind it out, nothing flashy but get contributions from every line

And without a douchebag in net like that Blues team, it’ll be really easy to cheer them on after they win tomorrow night.

Toronto has to be the dirtiest team in recent history. From cernak, point, sergachev, and kucherov there has been a bunch of dirty hits

Well, Val Nichuskin is not gonna be back

EDIT: Denver Post got a report for the Seattle PD that a woman was found so intoxicated in Val’s room that the team doctor called 911. Good on the Avs for making him leave Seattle and not letting him return yet. No criminal investigation, but damn. I know he’s married and I think he just had a baby, dude has some shite to work out.

It’s obviously a wash this season for us, but as long as there is no criminal investigation or activity (as it seems to be), he needs a long off season to figure out his personal matters. He’ll be back next year.

Lightning up 2-1 at the end of two. Lightning took a penalty and it got chippy at the end of the period. Maroon absolutely bodied Giordano into the boards.
