I don’t dispute that the penalty should have been called. It should have.

I don’t believe that in hockey at all, but damnit Seattle has gotten away with some shite whereas the Avs have gotten called for some tacky shite.

Perfect example tonight is what was just missed on the MacKinnon penalty that should’ve clearly been whereas JJ gets called for a weak one.

Set up the difference between a 1-1 game where the Avs are on the PP, and instead are down 2-1.

It’s bullshite.

Can’t win a series playing from behind the entire time

Can do it for a few games but not 5+

Avs allowed first goal a lot last year but that was a different team. You would think the experience last year Carries forward.
Really sucks bc they could have repeated this year if not for health. Makes what Tampa did even more impressive.

It's even more frustrating because you know if they pull this series out they will get destroyed next round, so it's almost moot point wasting my frustration and losing sleep

But we support our teams right

For me this is semi personal .

I lived in Seattle for a couple years so all my Seattle co workers and friends are chirpin’.

I have been anxious as hell this entire series. Here I am at my place in Denver instead if being at the game or out at a bar having fun. I can’t handle it

Absolutely. And Seattle has mostly tilted the ice in their favor this series, at this point - they deserve to win it.

It’s disappointing that the refs have slanted a Game 5 in their favor at this point.

If this score holds, the Avs got screwed.

No ifs ands or buts about it

Looking through my pics last year in Tampa watching the Avs win the cup in person, will never forget that

Success can be fleeting

Still a chance here but they need to play better in the third than they have played the entire series

The score won’t hold, though. I think the Kraken need two more goals to win it. Nothing less is going to get it done.

Doesn’t change the situation at hand. A tired team is, again, going to have to run on fumes to get this tied. The refs fricked up.

Doesn’t bode well long term for the Avs, but particularly that the Seattle lead is only there by BS at this moment.

Agreed, entirely, but the difference right now is a call that should’ve gone the Avs way (based on the JJ penalty), and 10 seconds later Seattle has a goal instead of a PK.

Also the irony of Grubauer becoming all-world against his old team

Especially when he was mediocre the entire season and when he played for the Avs in the playoffs he wasn't good or was hurt (despite having some great regular seasons)

This is Avs of 19-20 reminding me of Dallas and VGK series

Talented enough but frustrated undermanned underperforming and outworked
