So as an Auburn fan i followed a couple of Oregon sports radio stations to listen to their pre/post coverage of coverage of the Auburn/Oregon game

Well this came across my twitter feed a few minutes ago

quote:

Damir Collins scores for THE DEMOCRATS making it 14-8 Jefferson with 4:48 in the 3rd. #SRHSvJHS #PowerRentPreps

They're from Portland. Portland Nike store has all the HS logos from local teams on the wall and I nearly crapped myself when I saw that.

Seriously?

The people from Portland are absolutely fricking weird.

I couldn’t imagine being that devoted to a political party.

ETA: That logo is cool though.

Jefferson High. Democrats like to trace their political heritage back to Jefferson. In reality, the party that Jefferson helped found was the Democratic-Republicans which split into two parties., the Democrats becoming the party that split to follow Andrew Jackson, whom I believe liberals and progressives think is the devil now.

Welcome to Robstown, Texas baw.

Media already tried to get them to change it. It’s mostly a Hispanic community and they were the ones in the cotton fields down there back in the day. They told the media to frick off.

Tillamook High School Cheesemakers is the most unique nickname in Oregon. Across the river from Portland in Camas, WA are the Papermakers.

From the Oxford Dictionary

quote:

democrat
NOUN
1An advocate or supporter of democracy.

‘as a democrat, I accepted the outcome of the referendum’

So of course the single minded Conservatard snowflakes will melt over this one and cry about there being no Republican mascots.

What?

It’s just a weird mascot.

And not surprising for Oregon.

I’m sure the fact that their mascot is a donkey is a complete coincidence.
