The Pirates will send right-handed reliever Diego Moreno and outfielder Exicardo Cayones to New York in return, sources said. Moreno, a 25-year-old from Venezuela, has split the past two seasons between the Class A and Double-A minor league teams. Cayones, who is 20, spent 2011 in Class A.

I might be one of the only Yankee fans sad to see AJ go. Been one of my favorite players since his days in Florida.

Ehhh... I don't know. I like Chavez, and I'm good with the signing. Just hope he can stay healthy this year. And that has never been a given with this guy.

Give a kid a shot, if after 100 or do at bats they sucking it up sign one of them.... Not like anyone else is rushing to sign them

He doesn't look 280, that's for sure.
He said he only has to drop 10 pounds to get to where he wants to be.
I've heard CC is down a bit from last season too. Just hope he can sustain that, and not go back to the captain crunch in the middle of the season.
Hughes has also lost 20 pounds. Looks good.
