You bastard. Post in the other one.

I like the CC extension. He's had the best years of his career in pinstripes and is showing no signs of slowing down.
I'm also fine with re-signing Garcia. He was more than I expected last season. It is supposedly a 1-year deal for 4-5 million. We need another arm and he fits the bill. He's proven he can be a 4/5 guy in the AL East.
frick Soriano. I seriously hate Levine for this deal. Cashman didn't want him for a reason, and once again, he was right. Levine and Hank need to GTFO and let Hal and Cash run the club.

Searched and couldn't find it. Plus I'll update this mofo every change I get.
I granted myself the honor of owning the NYY offseason thread.

Jayson Nix is sure to be a difference maker.

It's the same as the 2011 team except older.

If he even makes the team.
I'd rather resign Jones and Chavez, than deal with a guy who's a strikeout machine with "decent" pop.

Meh. I would LOVE to have Chavez back but if he retires/doesn't re-sign I guess Nix is a decent option. He plays good defense which is what he'll be asked to do.

No doubt. I really wanna re-sign Jones. He was a damn good 4th OF last year.
Nix is on a minor-league deal. No big.

Doesn't look like Cashman is going to do anything this offseason, to be honest.
Resigned Garcia, will resign Chavez and Jones (or other bench players), and that will be it.
Dude has a few screws loose. With this rotation, this team will not win a championship. I hate to be a nega-Yankee, but it's true.

Who should we sign?
Darvish? The posting fee will be insane. Plus he'll demand a 5+ year deal. I don't wanna sink that kinda money into an unproven commodity. See: Rice K.
Other than him, I only see trades. We could make a deal for a solid 2/3 but IDK.
There is no point in spending for the sake of spending. The market kinda sucks this year.

Wilson. This team needs a LEGIT #2 starter.
The length of contract he wants scares me, but can he really be any worse than Burnett or Hughes?

Um. Yeah
Wilson would be a TERRIBLE sign.

Garza available, better option than Wilson.

Matt Garza blows. This FA class blows for arms.

I'm a big Garza fan.
He's got the strikeout stuff that the rotation is missing outside of CC.

Then make a trade. Garza isn't a solid pitcher. Id rather take darvish than Wilson or Garza.

I thought it was pretty clear I was being a smart arse.
