Quite mindblowing actually....
Welp, Terry Bradshaw has 4 Super Bowl wins, so he must be right when he says if he had to choose, he'd trade Rodgers and keep McCarthy, right?

He must know better than all of us on the internet message board.

Anybody who has played competitive sports at even the high school level should recognize that being good at a sport does not mean you understand it

Barkley has an NBA Mount Rushmore and has stated numerous times that there is literally nothing any future player can ever do to get on that list, the top 4 All Time is set in stone.

He played the game, and is an analyst, so he's right!!

All it takes is listening to some of the good but not great players who have TV gigs now.

So many of them are legitimately idiots when it comes to player evaluation and team building.

Having buddies and "enemies" and agendas in the league is ALL all takes for some past players to have almsot negative ability to judge players.

Even some great players are legitimately idiots when it comes to that sort of stuff. It goes for all sports for the most part, but definitely basketball and football.

Michael Jordan was an incredible basketball player. As a GM/owner, he's never had a team go to the 2nd round in the East in over 10 years.

Being good at basketball does not mean your opinions about basketball are automatically right.

Brendan Haywood played @ UNC, obvious Jordan bias exposed there

It’s still hard to take people like Charles Barkley seriously when he has Oscar Robertson over LeBron in his Top 10 because he averaged a triple double for a full season.

How about that one team in Kobe’s prime that missed the playoffs?

Don't get me wrong Terry Bradshaw's a great QB bc of his ability and his performances in Super Bowls at the clutch moments but he had Swann/Stallworth helping him out on the receiving end, Mike Webster and Co blocking for him, and Franco Harris running the football effectively to keep defenses honest IN ADDITION TO the Steel Curtain making up for any mistakes he may commit on the football field bc Bradshaw was like Brett Favre when it came to being an INT liability out there and he didn't complete an exceptional percentage of his passes, was what it was.

Straight up I never use that BS logic for anything, yes the first triple-double season was great and all but the Big O was much more than simply that, he possessed tremendous overall ability as a player and was such a fierce competitor that his personal standards exceeded those of outsiders and the press. Also, he is a big reason the reserve clause no longer exists in the NBA which represented a quantum leap towards the current free agency context so gotta give him credit in that respect as well.

If you were to create the perfect basketball player, you would probably end up with Lebron.

He can shoot, pass, rebound, play physical with basically anyone in the NBA outside the biggest center, and he can defend point guard through small centers effectively.

Lebron has continued to improve him game his whole career.

I have no problem with them choosing Jordan, but the fact he was first and nostalgia of Jordan’s career drives most of this.

Not to mention Air Jordan brand still dominates the sports shoe market despite that he hasn’t played pro basketball basically the last 20 years, that’s some longevity in legacy I tell you what
