1. That means he's younger, cheaper and has less miles on him

2. I don't think there's a precedent for a running back putting up THAT type of production period as a rookie, but I highly doubt there's a precedent for a RB putting up similar production then falling off a cliff(not including injuries)

No? Why?

Bell at 16mil is worse value than kamara at 700k

Not including the other things:
Age
Touches
Overlaps too much to Ingram
Removes the dynamic receiver aspect, bell doesn't run nearly the amount of routes as kamara.

I agree which is why there's no chance I'd trade him.

You're making part of my point for me. We know Leveon's durability and production, can't say the same about Kamara which is why I'm not willing to say Kamara is definitively better.

Bell averages like 90 catches a year.

Which isn't a ringing endorsement. He's only played 16 games once in his career due to either injuries, suspension, or hold outs. It's only 22 games, but so far Kamara hasn't missed a game

We have seen Kamara in 22 games so far including playoffs. It is a large enough sample sizeto judge a RB. QBs is where you take a few seasons because you often see outlier type of seasons from that spot.

In the 22 games we have seen of Kamara he has 22 TDs

His efficiency and production is off the charts. That includes a game against ATL where he suffered a concussion on the opening drive, and Peterson taking away some of his touches early in the 2017 season.

Taking the contracts out I think I would rather have Kamara going forward with the wear and tear Bell has. Once you bring contracts in the equation it’s a no brainer

This is the point, but saints fans will tell you Kamara is indisputeably better.

Not many(or even any) are saying he's indisputably better and I'm not even sure everyone saying Kamara is better is a Saints fan.

Feels like a bit of a strawman here.

It is not at all a crazy statement to say Kamara is better than Bell right now. He has 100% been the better player since the start of last season, so it's not that crazy at all.

From Mingo?

Shocking.

Kamara is younger, cheaper, and at least equal in talent.

So... yeah.

Previous 9 games played:

Back A: 187 rush attempts for 741 yards
Back B: 185 rush attempts for 684 yards

One back wants to be paid 18 million a year. The other back is Adrian Peterson.

I drafted bell for my #1, and I wish a dumb motherfricker would offer me this trade.

It would have been pointless. Drafted rookies can't renegotiate contracts until after their 3rd accrued season.

quote:

Players picked in Rounds 2-7 sign four-year contracts. The team can extend that contract after the third year by paying a new signing bonus and adding veteran salaried years after the first four. Undrafted free agents sign three-year contracts.

He would need to be active or on IR for at least 6 games for an accrued season.

Body of work disagrees. I think Kamara is awesome, but he's in year 2 and aided last year by Mark Ingram. If Kamara does what he's done last year and continued into the beginning of this year, then I could agree, but not yet.

you realize kamara has over 600 yards in 4 games?

Hell no. Kamara is an All-Pro caliber back on a rookie deal. How many Super Bowl teams have you seen lately that have RB's with a huge salary?
