Would this be a good enough schedule for BYU to make the playoffs if they go undefeated?

That's seven power 5 teams on the schedule. Of course it's good enough.

Better than an ACC schedule. I’m gonna say yes.

When will Sitake start getting big time looks? He's developed a monster over there. They physically crush people.

Cause half the team is 23 / 24 years old due to mission years.

Better than ACC schedule so yes.

I would say better than PAC schedule but half their teams on it so cancels out.

5 or so teams in the SEC would go undefeated against that schedule. It’s a good crappy schedule. If BYU dominates against everyone and the metrics and eye test say they are definitely a top 4 team then sure let them in. They are 3-0 right now but haven’t dominated.

honestly it depends. Is it good enough...yes, but alot is going to depend on what oregon does and who wins the big 10.

Lets say USC or one of the other schools in the pac 12 on the list win the conference and have a loss to BYU...they are in.

but honestly lets say the following happens

bama and uga meet undefeated in sec champ game. Its a close game. Both prolly get in.

Ohio State doesnt lose anther game or Michigan goes undefeated( ) or penn state does

then clemson runs through the weak acc

cinci goes undefeated

byu goes undefeated

oregon goes undefeated

who gets it? wont be BYU, no matter what. so like i said, unfortunately they do not control their own destiny.

Notre Dame would always be in consideration with that schedule.

Why not everyone else?

The SEC runner up won't be getting in, if the other three conference champions go undefeated and that isn't even including Oklahoma.

Which is why anything less than a 12-team playoff is and has usually been bullcrap.

Plus South FL, Utah St and Boise from the next tier of conferences…

The funniest part is their two cupcakes are games 10 and 11, so that might hurt them with voters who want to see the best teams tested in November
