I would have to Galarraga. He was robbed.
And Matt Cain won a World Series ring. Was kind of funny that he went to Houston High(Germantown, TN), and threw his PG against Houston. I finally forgave him for his HS after that.

also, just looked up a few of the past perfect game throwers.

Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Harvey Haddix will never be credited with a perfect game, but no one in the history of baseball has ever retired 36 consecutive hitters in the same game. The Braves finally got to Haddix in the bottom of the 13th with an error, sacrifice bunt, walk and game-winning double.
But Haddix can still claim one of the greatest games ever pitched.
In 133 years of baseball, there has never been a no-hitter more than 10 innings. Yet, Haddix pitched 12 innings of perfect ball.

Martinez set down 27 straight San Diego Padres hitters. But the Expos were unable to score themselves, sending the game into extra innings.

On Sept. 2, 1972, Pappas, pitching for the Chicago Cubs, retired 26 straight San Diego Padres hitters. With Larry Stahl pinch-hitting for pitcher Larry Severinsen, Pappas ran the count to 2-2.
Unfortunately for Pappas, umpire Bruce Froemming called the next two pitches balls, issuing a walk to Stahl and ending Pappas' perfect bid

On Sept. 2, 2001, Mussina, now with the New York Yankees, was mowing down the Boston Red Sox. Mussina worked 8.2 perfect innings and prepared to face pinch-hitter Carl Everett.
Mussina had a 1-2 count when he threw a pitch that Everett blooped into left field for a base hit.

Darvish is worse. Gallarraga at least knows that he had it the bag. He was perfectly imperfect.

Mussina lost 2 perfect games in the 9th inning over his career

he said he just reacted, and right away he knew he was flat out wrong.
If he knew right awayy, then he should have changed the call on the field. It was my understanding that he didn't know until he saw the replay in the back.
