Worse way to lose a perfect game: Darvish or Galarraga?

either way would suck. but i've gotta imagine having an ump blow a call would be worse. then again, Galarraga basically got a 28 out perfect game.
also, just looked up a few of the past perfect game throwers. Dallas Braden isn't in the league anymore from what I can tell. Philip Humber, who threw the first of 3 last season, had a 6.44 ERA on the season with the White Sox and is now with the Astros.

I actually think Darvish way is worse. At the end of the day Gallaraga and everyone else knows he really threw a perfect game. At the end of the day, Darvish and everyone else knows he didnt throw a perfect game

Galarraga definitely.
Just looked up bradens twitter and he is out of the league

I was at a bar one night with Jim Joyce. Really, an awesome dude. After several beers I asked him about that game. He told me it was without a doubt the worst moment in his professional career, said that everything he told the reporters was from the bottom of his heart and he apologized to Gallarraga every time he saw him.
It was obvious it really bothered him, he said he just reacted, and right away he knew he was flat out wrong.

No. It wasn't even close. Hard hit, clean single.

Had all kinds of arm and shoulder problems. Each time he got close, there was a setback. A's let him go last season. There had been hope he'd be back last September, but just couldn't get the arm healthy

Galarraga is actually is a better situation because of what happened. There have been a few dozen perfect games thrown, and they are amazingly special, but how many can you name? I will always remember Galarraga's name and the look on his face, the Jim Joyce thing, him getting a car a few days later, and all that other shite. His perfect game is actually more memorable than any other perfect game except for maybe Doc Ellis and Don Larsen
