And yes I know a few can but they’re dunks aren’t even in the same category.
Lowering the hoop so they could dunk is the only way to make more people watch. It is what it is.

When I was a student at Alabama, Sandra Murray, the sister of Alabama men's star Anthony Murray and a star on the women's team, used to regularly go down to Foster Auditorium and play in pick-up games with guys.
Good for her that she could compete with guys. But does that mean that guys want to spend time and/or money watching someone who was merely their equal?
It's not sexism or homophobia. I watched Martina Navratilova (a lesbian) and Chris Evert and other women's pro tennis players in part because they were at such a talent level beyond what I could ever hope to have been. Why would I spend time watching someone on TV who I was able to compete with in pick-up games?
How many guys who were really good high school basketball players have the perception that they could beat most of those WNBA players one-on-one? Probably thousands.
Basketball fans are awed by NBA stars. Few if any guys are awed by the WNBA.
