I don’t understand his point in his whole thing.

He’s cool af with dude getting fired and us speculating until the cows come home on why. Clearly we’d know the same exact info as we do now if he got fired. We’d know that same shite..

BUT

They only suspended him for a season for what could easily be a fireable offense..

And because of that, everyone is an a-hole for knowing why he’s suspended.

I don’t get it.

I think his point was:

1. fire him and keep EVERYONE speculating and the privacy of those two staffers get kept private (i.e. not announced via ESPN/yahoo/etc), innocent women who were speculated and harassed also are not harassed. Just like most organizations would do. That way the person who is to blame, gets blame and deserves it so.

however

2. suspending him but leaking info like this led innocent women (like the women that the internet were saying were the staffers, but in reality were not the two) being harassed by internet trolls. he thinks is unfair and irresponsible.

If that's the case, I truly see his point in this. Udoka legitimately can get to keep a 7 figure paying job in a year if all things go perfectly and innocent women got internet trolled because of small leaks. minimal responsibility by the person who broke team rules.

Stephen A. was going on and on defending this guy on ESPN.

Saying white people do this all the time and the only reason the Celtics released this was because he's black.

This is the same Stephen A. Who tried to bury Duke.

And bury BYU.

No he won’t. Stephen A. has ramped up race baiting and race hoaxes to the next level and ESPN is creaming itself over it while Malika broke all the ESPN core viewers hearts when it came out she was dating a white guy. On the woke hierarchy Smith is above Andrews because she’s an Aunt Tom.

Wait until they announce the interim coach and it’s a white dude. His melt will be glorious.

Petrino got fired. Harsin didn't.

I was going to bring up Harsin, but as an example of how powerful this is. Auburn boosters created a rumor that he was banging a subordinate so that they would force the AD to fire him and they wouldn't have to pony up for the buyout.

THAT is how powerful these allegations are.

I think a lot of people will be embarrassed by their defense of him once some of the facts leak out. My thoughts are that he messed up really bad.

It's really crazy to turn this into a racial thing. Hell, the sex stuff (with non-staffers, mind you) is what made firing Orgeron so palatable last year. Didn't Quinn Snyder get fired for having relations with a player's gf? Les Miles was terminated for cause for improper sexual behavior at a former job. Plenty of white coaches have taken the L.

Didn't ULL's meathead HC get in hot water for banging a cheerleader?

I really doubt it was a rumor personally.

How about the women who also broke team rules? They get to remain anonymous and keep their jobs while the guy gets put on blast and treated like a predator? How is that fair?

He should be paranoid. Now I think it is funny when he goes scorched earth on the Cowboys but at some point some lunatic unhinged fan is going make a run at him.

Yep. And why didn't he get fired? Because they didn't have any evidence, and would have been sued into oblivion.......Hell, they still might be after he's fired for on-the-field performance. I can easily see him claiming a loss of reputation, hostile work environment, that affect the way he did his job.

There's no way he survives that scandal if it's true, for similar reasons discussed in this thread.

She's still employed by Auburn, too

This is Auburn we're talking about, possibly the craziest booster base in CFB.

Correct. Trust me, if the BOD had the tiniest of evidence, he would have been gone a long time ago.
