Nope. Lamar isn’t going through that AFC gauntlet of elite QBs. This was his only real shot in my opinion. He’s also going to continue to slow down more and more. You saw it in the KC game.

Every year y’all say he can’t play quarterback and every year he proves y’all wrong.

If you don’t like him because he’s black just say that and get it over with. Saying he’s not a great quarterback is just plain ignorance and does not jive with reality.

He just turned 26. He’s got plenty of time. Hell Dan Marino only made one SB in his entire career and only a dumbass doubts his greatness.

The Ravens had their best squad in years this season and Monken completely fricked them over with the game plan in the title game. They had no reason to throw the ball 40 times against the Chiefs. Coaching is why they lost the game.

He is a slightly above average QB. Really a RB playing QB. He was outside of the top 10 in PASSING YARDS and TDs. Somehow wins MVP. He’s also the only player to win multiple MVPs and have 0 rings.

People forget Huntley and the Ravens almost beat the Bengals in last years playoffs. Lamar being MVP is hilarious.

Jayden Daniels will be what the media tries to make Lamar.

He probably makes it to the Super Bowl at some point. I have to give him a lot of credit. At the end of his first year I didn’t think he would be any good, but he’s come a long way and you have to give the organization a lot of credit for the way they are bringing him along.

The AFC is a meat grinder with Mahomes, Burrow, Jackson, Allen and now Stroud. And that’s not to mention Lawrence and Herbert. The Ravens are a good organization, so I think he makes it at some point. Kind of like Manning making two Super Bowls when Brady was winning all those Super Bowls.

Its 2024 and some have a vested interest in this guy failing for some reason.

Yeah, I'm sure it's that reason, while the same people will openly admit that Patrick Mahomes is the best QB in the league, clown

The other point is that many of these much worse QBs were probably not making 50 mil per year, so the cap could be more evenly spread around to other positions. People complain that he doesn't have enough weapons, well you can't have a top 5 defense, a top 5 offensive line, a top 5 receiver group, and a QB that gets paid 50 million per year. The math doesn't work out there.

Mike Vick was better toward the end of his career throwing the ball. I don’t think that will be the case with Lamar though.

I thought it was rigged? You need to make up your mind.

Much worse QBs have made it to the Superbowl. I see no reason to think he can't make it one day as long as the Ravens continue to do a good job of building and managing the roster.

Lamar is only in year 6, it's off to me that so many people are willing to write him off so early.

Once Burrow gets healthy, it is unlikely.

Who knows. Chiefs losing Chris Jones is going to materially affect that defense, and the Chiefs badly need an injection of offensive talent. Rice is good, but he's not a game breaker and the rest of the receivers are trash. Kelce looked old this year, and will only look older from here on out, so he needs to slot in as a third option soon.

Long-time mostly successful regular season QB, probably

Success in playoffs? Never.

Yeah Trent Dilfer was a real stud going 35-73 for the entire 4 game playoff run back in 2000.

Lamar will be fine. He’s 2-4 in the playoffs overall, 2-3 since taking over as a full time starter in 2019. He likely has another win or two from the 2022 playoffs if he wasn’t out with injury but it happens.
