It’s crazy how they teach those kids from a young age and by time high school comes around they already have the system embedded in their brain. Side note, does that limit next level opportunities for their offensive players? Yes, there have been guys like Dupard, Wells, Wimprine, McKnight and Dupree but they are the only ones I can think of.

I will add though it doesn’t matter much from a team perspective if you constantly win Championships.

100% fact JT Curtis is the biggest fraud in LA sports history. Dude has cheated recruiting top talent to play much inferior teams in inferior divisions his entire career.

Haynesville runs the veer/option attack as well and has done so probably for 50+ years.

My hometown team in Arkansas is now doing the same thing to try to get all the kids on the sme page from 7th grade on.

Eunice won the State Championship last year and they run the wing-t. Not sure why all of a sudden in this generation that running the football is such a bad thing. It's tough to stop if you don't have discipline on defense. I understand passing the football out of the shotgun is the sexy thing to do now but when it comes to winning football games you do what you do best.

It's frustrating as an opponent especially when you get down by two touchdowns which is not hard for Curtis to do with the talent they have. You have to play toe to toe with them in order to beat them.

It's also the reason their kids struggle when they get to college when that's all they know how to do. WR's want to be featured, QB's need to throw the ball in this day and age.

There needs to be a balance between short-term success and long-term growth.

Dont know you, but it seems you have a melt going on here. Did they kick your arse in high school that bad? Not let you attend JC?

Parents did what they had to do to get their kids there. Great program and he built quality young men from what i can tell.
Unlike public, he put a strick program in olace and it was his way or youre out.

Im fine with that

I hate Redemptorist but there was nothing better than their complete annihilation of John Curtis in the dome in 2003. JC couldn’t do shite that night.
