Fixed that for you.

Why have they been so irrelevant for so long?
Have you been to Georgia/Atlanta? I’m sure this is a egg/chicken thing to an extent but their fanbase is literally non existent, even a few blocks from the stadium.

Never been to ATL. I’m sure It is similar to Chicago in the sense that nobody there cares about the local college programs. Regardless, the state is still littered with talent. You’d think GT could find a nice niche owning 3 star talent and occasional 4 stars with athletes and build a solid foundation. That alone still should have you compete for ACC divisions

I actually think Mullen would do well at Tech lol. Low stress, can drink Bud Light Limes and need limited recruiting, but would probably have a solid offensive system and keep them competitive ala Miss State

Those games were always barnburners in the days of Joe Hamilton and Woody Dantzler.
A great era for CFB

Would you rather be with the nerds at GT or the smoking hot rich girls at UGA?
All the nerds are going to end up swimming in tech money and surrounded by many beautiful women. They will be just fine.

All it takes is a couple of tech bros to launch a NIL fund and take the program off by soley ATL kids

Because Geoff Collins thinks that having his players lift weights on the sideline before a game will intimidate opponents.

No one cares about GT but CFB is king here (and that includes UGA).

You don't think Mullen could regularly win 8-9 games a year at GT?

Stansbury single-handedly kept the Dawgs out of the playoff a few years ago,
Our AD was also on the CFP committee that year too. Although I don't see how you can complain when you lost 2 games and didn't win your conference (and 1 of those losses was by 20 points to Orgeron).

Florida State?
I thought Florida was UGA’s rival

The problem right now is coaching

I've lived in Atlanta for the past 16 years. I'm not sure if I've ever met a single GA Tech fan.
I even have a couple of friends who all graduated from there. Neither actually care about Tech football. They may have went to a couple while in college. But now They don't care to even watch their games on TV, let alone attend the games.
UGA is king here in Atlanta. I'm not really sure how that could change either.

When TN was good, they were taking players out of GA.
Quite a few of AU's great players have come from GA such as Ronnie Brown.
That was all through the weak coach years at UGA.

I think Mullen would at least do as well as Gailey did. Chan actually recruited some good players he just couldn't coach worth a shite. Mullen can X & O but can't recruit which is quite the conundrum

If Mullen can have a 10-2 season at Moo St playing in the SEC West there's no reason he couldn't do 8-4 at GT playing in the ACC Coastal.

This year more people applied to Georgia Tech than to UGA. It’s way ahead of the game when it comes to being innovative and football is played out.

GT hired an option coach from NAvy (Paul Johnson) to run their football program. that proves that they don't give a single f*** about football (or sports in general really)
