They act like they are the kings of college football while holding a 2-13 record vs the SEC in bowl games. Shitty fans with a false sense of entitlement

Bandwagon. I live in KY, and there are a bunch of Ohio State bandwagon fans here; most of them like Duke basketball. Most of them have never lived outside of Ky.

But ive been told a million times this bowl season from sec fans that bowl games dont matter

I have ties to many schools technically, so I can say I’m a fan of any team.

All these examples of bad OSU fans Ive seen from many other schools. All lame excuses and most anecdotal. OSU fans are no worse than any other fan base.

The great myth, tell me you didnt actually watch the game without telling me.
Everyone watched the game but nice revisionist synopsis.
The flag came in later than a12 month pregnancy.
And it's not "Miami fans"

Do bowl games even mean anything anymore? Being the “king of college football” is a relative term anyway. Alabama fans act like the kings, but they are only 2-8-1 against Texas. Tennessee fans act like kings and they’ve been shite forever. UGa fans finally win and suddenly they’re God’s gift.
Again, I’m looking for something real and concrete, not some lame reason you can pin on any number of teams.

Doesnt change the fact that a penalty occurred. Deal with it.
Sorry facts hurt.

Then everybody saw OSU get hosed on their last drive in regulation.
Missed PI
Besides, Miami was the “dynasty”. Who the hell wanted them to win another ‘ship?

Buddy, that just ain’t true. It’s mostly firsthand (in my experience) and well deserved.
They were absolute royal pieces of shite at the 2006 Fiesta Bowl and the 2016 Fiesta Bowl. I have traveled all over the country and been to a shitload of away and neutral venues. There isn’t even a competition as far as worst fans except Penn State when we went there in 2007.

I’m not saying I don’t believe you had those experiences. I believe it was bad. Could it possibly be a dislike they have for ND? I ask, because Irish fans are known for having that same entitled and uppity attitude. It’s a pot-kettle thing to me.
I’ve been to The Shoe, and a couple of Ohio State bowls. Their fans aren’t super nice or anything. In my experience, they’re on par with most fanbases of massive schools with a national following. I just get the sense they are hated more than anybody else on this board.

Great pull on the video evidence. That poster who was ignorant of the facts probably did not even view it. All Miami fans should be forced to watch that on repeat, along with national media, and then issue apologies for so willfully ignoring such an obvious miss for 20 plus years.

Urban Meyer and Ryan Day are douches.
This year specifically, a lot has been made of them spending $20M on the roster. We’re probably past the point of fretting over “buying championships” but it would be nice for the most expensive roster in football not to win the title.
That’s really it. They’re not that bad.

I must have missed those times Tommy from Columbus poisoned the Ann Arbor Oaks or he exited his trailer to shoot a Michigan fan.

The natives here hate Ohio and Ohioans.
quote:
“What’s up with South Carolina not liking Ohio?” Shirley wrote.
Instagram answered — and the majority who replied said it has to do with Ohio transplants invading the Palmetto state.
Several said they are “bad drivers!” and accused Ohioans of adding minivans to the traffic problems. “It’s because there’s a common trope of Ohioans coming up to South Carolina and driving up costs and making it harder to drive around,” a commenter said.
“Having grown up in SC, I can confirm our dislike of Ohio. Worst drivers ever. And they all drive minivans,” one person wrote “Everyone from Ohio moves to SC and Ohio is the worst. Ever,” said another. Some suggested this is a coastal-concentrated hatred.
“Both Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head’s populations are like 40 percent Ohioans at any given time. The interior of the state is far less passionate about their hatred of Ohio, in that they hate Ohio about as much as the rest of us do, which is a fair bit.”
“Lots of Ohio transplants in SC, especially in Charleston,” one person commented Having lived on Hilton Head Island for four years now, I have witnessed the Ohio invasion, but I haven’t been here nearly long enough to hate any group of transplants.
There’s a band on Hilton Head called “Not from Ohio” making fun of the fact that you’re unique on Hilton Head if you’re from anywhere besides Ohio.

We've all fricked an Ohio Girl and it's just an ugly forgettable experience.

See my post above. Again, I don’t dislike Ohio State but this simply isn’t true and there are WAY too many incidents to indicate otherwise. The school president literally sent an apology letter to Texas after the 2005 game because fan behavior was so bad. I can’t speak to what it is like for OSU fans in Ann Arbor, but as a Texas fan that has attended games at both campuses were orders of magnitude better at Michigan. I’ll still be rooting for the Buckeyes in the title game, but their fans by and large are absolutely worse than most. I am also 99.9% sure that their shite fans never even logged a semester at the school because the alumni I’ve met and known have universally been good people.
