Because they have a Muslim owner and London is Little Pakistan now.

The Car company actually sued the Jacksonville Jaguars with their initial brand release. Neither are fans of each other.

Let’s see there are 4 billionaires from Pakistan. There are 2 from Louisiana. Muslim or not, he’s smarter than a lot of people in Louisiana, and y’all are in one of the richest/most opportunistic countries in the world.

Their owner is a rich car guy who is from Pakistan trying to bring the NFL over that way.
The team needs a new owner, American made.

He had more money to waste than wayne weaver seems pretty obvious.

Wayne Weaver needs to be introduced into Sainthood for Jacksonvilles sake. But he was only a good owner at the beginning. Kahn cares more about winning. The weavers did to many favors for whom they thought were good people, and created the poverty franchise we are today.

NFL needs a team or 2 in Canada before thinking about Europe.

What stadium will he lease? Craven Cottage doesn’t really work. Wembley? Ouch.
Lots of short term options. But I doubt playing at the Emirates or Stamford bridge would be good long term. Plus don’t see Arsenal fans being happy sharing a stadium with “Handeggers”.

Everton’s new one in Liverpool. Town of 400k 52 million visitors a year
I’m skeptical of how this number of Liverpool’s “visitors” is calculated. 52 million annually would make it the most visited city in the world, right up there with Paris, and would eclipse other international cities such as New York City, Tokyo, Rome, etc., which we know it does not.
If they’re counting suburbians’ daily commute to work, yeah they probably reach that number. But otherwise, no effin way.

The Jags signed a 30 year lease with Jacksonville this past summer.
That hasn’t stopped anyone before. breaking a lease is not unusual. They’ll pay a penalty and leave.
Teams break leases when they have an opt out date. Nobody has ever broken a 30 year lease. Especially when that lease contains $1.4 billion stadium renovation.

It's the National football league not the International football league..

I’m sure that there are contingencies around the $1.4 billion renovation. I’m not saying they’re going to break their lease. I’m simply saying that you can’t discount that option.

It's climate change related. They're tired of the heat and hurricanes in Florida, and are considering moving to a locale with a more tolerable, equable climate, in this case, London.

Craven Cottage is still way too small with not enough suites. It's bound by the properties around it, the river and the Stevenage Road stand is historically "listed" so they can't do much with it.
Wembley or Tottenham would be the two likely venues, Tottenham's ground was built with the NFL in mind. Stamford Bridge is a shite hole, no way they're going there. Emirates is now too "old" for the NFL's ADHD ownership, built in 1999.
