For Rory, I think he falls into the category of "the more you talk the more likely it is you'll say something stupid."

LeBron gets paid regardless of his performances (or lack of same).
Rory most times gets paid according to his performance.
The weaker guy knows he can sit and still the money rolls in.

This is tough because both are extremely sensitive/fragile when it comes to getting heckled by the crowd.
Neither like anyone talking about them or to them in game. Both have people thrown out all the time.

Rory won 3.5 points at a road Ryder cup in NY where the entire time fans were yelling about his wife, and a grand slam winning masters after decades of mental torment
You couldn’t do 1/1,000 of what those two accomplished by being fragile

Plus the mental fortitude it takes to be that healthy for so damn long. Keeping inhuman hours and work/focus for decades. No father. No Dean Smith type coaches to instill that unbelievable professionalism.

Rory has been coddled since he was a teenager (or maybe even younger) and it shows by his attitude on the course and in the media room. He's a spoiled, entitled twit who complains anytime something isn't exactly how he wants.

Questioning Rory's fortitude after the past two years is an ice cold take.
As far as some of the things he says, he's just on the more open and honest side. People bitch when guys don't have a personality. People bitch when guys share too much. People bitch when guys DO have a personality but they decide it's not genuine and they're being performative.

Rory’s parents worked two jobs as house cleaners, bar tenders, etc to help him play golf. But muh blue collar upbringing

The all time great athletes would have been successful in life even if you took away every ounce of athletic ability they have. Their mental strength and work ethic are insane

Spoiled means someone gave it to him and that isn't the case.
Yeah, Rory is all of 5'9". It isnt like he had some massive physical advantage over the rest of us.
