You responded to an explanation with a quote of only the preface of the explanation. Didn't see the point in explaining again.

Some people didn't vote them in because those people are idiots.

Why should people be idiots now because of idiots in the past?

Griffey got in on his first try.

I have zero issue with him not being unanimous.

Seriously you people care because EVERYONE didn't put him on a ballot? What a joke. The shite that gets some of you morons rilled up is fricking hilarious

Buster Olney. He hasn't voted for anyone over the last few years. Mainly to protest the blocking of steroid era players.

I don't give one shite about HOF voting. It is silly to leave him off a ballot, though.

We all know sports writers are the smartest people on earth. Who else to make a decision on an athletes career than a guy who never played.

It appears his ability to reason is suspect.

The reason that guys like Griffey don't get unanimously inducted goes beyond the voters being idiots. The problem is each voter is only allowed to cast 10 votes. So, writers will leave off a guy they know is going to be inducted without their vote and use the vote on a player who is about to be taken off the ballot instead.
