i'd think Allen, Bird, and Curry make the final 3, and Bird beats Curry by 2

Owning every 3pt record in an era of half his shots being 3pt shots doesnt make him a better shooter or the greatest of all time. It just means he shot more and made more.

Id put money on Bird but if Thompson got superhot like he can, he could win.

Hodges would be my all time pick. His entire career, after a certain point, was built around training for his moment every year, the 3pt contest. Its like the 40, you can train yourself into being a specialist in one particular event.

So you’re just gonna ignore him shooting almost 44% from 3 for his career?

Give me Ray Allen! I actually think Curry would win it all.

Larry Bird is without question the greatest, especially in the 3 pt contest. Anybody who says otherwise is simply clueless. Larry would get inside the head of every one of those guys and then make about 20 straight shots.

not sure why Korver or Thompson is it the question. Korver lol. Thompson is a streaky shooter not really a consistent shooter for that level.

Don’t be a hater lol. Steph is the greatest shooter of all time he’s shooting 40% a couple of feet in front of half court. I know you guys love Larry and his spot is cemented but Steph is the ultimate shooter. Spotting up, off the dribble, coming off the screen two hands in his face Steph still drains it.

Steph wouldn’t care what some old dude with a bad back and worse mustache had to say, he’s the greatest 3 point shooter of all time.

That being said, anyone of these guys could win in a one off 3 point contest. On the average I would take Steph.

If Nash came along 10 years later, he'd be playing more like Steph. Nash could've gotten around 30 a game easily if he wanted to or needed to.

You know you're legit when you aren't even in the NBA, but they'll still let you in the 3 point contest wearing a generic jersey.

He played for Shampoo Clear Cantu that year, and still made the semis.

Larry threw epic bricks in the 3 pt contest

Won with scores of 16/30 and 17/30

22/30 was his best score
