That's such a lazy narrative

In 09 the defense was Ok, MVP numbers

In 11 the defense was ok, absolutely ridiculous numbers

In 13 the defense was top 5, 39 TDs.

Having a good defense would help him. He'd still throw 30+ TDs with ease.

I was just speaking to the general sentiment of the 'Brees is most valuable to his team' group. If they are a .500 team with Brees. And a 5 win team without i scratch my head how those 3 games difference make him most valuable to his team. Especially when looking at a squad like Dallas and seeing how many games they won with no romo last year as compared to this year. If we are going by most valuable to their team we can't go past Dallas for our MVP. And I'm not a Dallas fan at all.

He is. I'm a big fan of his. Wish he wouldn't have gotten run off last year but I think HOU is in a better spot this year with Mike than they would've been with coach McHale
Dude has really good chemistry with the guys. And is sorta funny too

Was NO the only favorite to win tonight? Jesus.

You also said Cam is the best QB in the NFL.

You're wrong here, bro. I'm guessing Brees wouldn't even be in your top 5 QBs. Our criticisms of him are fricking ridiculous. No he shouldn't be in the MVP talk because of record, but he has been spectacular this season

Yea Brees is top 5 are you kidding me?

Cam lead an offense full of scrubs to the how many points per game last year? He was the man last year and was the best player in the whole league(i.e. MVP) This year he has regressed. Kinda like curry was the best player in the NBA last year. Right now, he's not. These rankings are pretty fluid.

Odd night for sure. Cavs get run. Spurs lose to magic at home.

Dallas's O-line

if I have to pick one person, Oakland QB Carr.

He has a great o line too. He stands alone back there sometimes.

I pick Carr because they stunk before he came along.
Jamarcus was with Oakland. then a bunch of washed up nobodies.

In a team sport, your offense puts up 30 and your defense gives up 24 and special teams gives up 7, who's fault is that?

The offense i guess.

Have you been paying attention to football lately? QB's are judged on SB wins, thus by their regular season record, too.

And there's no way the most valuable person in the NFL doesn't have a winning record. You know this.

He's playing very well, but it is fruitless if they can't win.

ETA you're leaving out the turnovers in your math.

And your QB turns the ball over giving up free points. What is the Saints time of possession in those losses?

Lol. I back up my takes with a plethora of data. If you think that Brees isn't dink and dunk in the face of mountains of data you are the stupid one brotha.

The only thing that rustles me about Brees and Rodgers love is when guys jerk off over their 2 yd TD passes and act like TD/Int is some super meaningful plus minus number.

Mariota

Kidding of course. He has gotten his shite together and played as well as anybody the last 7 or 8 weeks. I think it's too early to call an MVP right now. Zeke , Carr , Ryan are probably the leaders though.
