Too much to read and too much effort to figure out who's trolling.
Quick answer:
Silva > Fedor
Quick answer:
Silva > Fedor

I think there is less compitition in HW and MW. Even less so when Pride and UFC were split.
I woudl go with Henderson, but it think there are stronger divisions with great champions. IDK

CroCop at 235 vs Nelson
I know Cro Cop has beefed up for some bigger fighters. But if you do some research on the guy he walks around at around 220 to 225 usually. When he fought Wandy for instance he weighed in at 221 I believe.

my heart says fedor
my head says silva
i do think fedor will continue to get an unfair analysis as time goes forward b/c of the pro-UFC fanbase here

Yea, I know he usually weighs in 225-235, but that doesn't change the fact that I don't think he could safely make 205.

Not trolling but how good were Rampage and Lidell in Pride and other federations besides UFC?

Fedor's resume is impressive, but anyone saying his resume is more impressive than Silva is just wrong. If Adrian Peterson played in the CFL instead of the NFL, would you consider him the GOAT?

if you're calling pride of the mid-00s, especially the HW division, the CFL then that's just wrong

Fedor's resume is much better. Nogueira was considered the 2nd best fighter in the world when Fedor beat him. Anderson's best win was against Hendo who was coming off a loss to Rampage. It is really no contest.

The rampage fight was at 205 not 185. Fedor also fought Hendo, how did that turn out? "Fedor was at the end of his career or it was a lucky punch......"
Just to add to my post, a big determining factor in measuring GOAT status is longevity of domination against top level competition. Would you consider anyone fedor fought after 2005 top level competition?

Yep. Good breakdown and analysis.
Fedor = GOAT

Doesn't matter what weight no one considered Hendo to be a top 5 fighter when Anderson beat him, much less the 2nd best fighter in the world.
Also Fedor was years past his prime when he fought Hendo

Yes. Coleman, Hunt and Arlovski were top 4-7ish heavweights when Fedor beat them

Coleman was at the end of his career and went 1-2 in his next 3 fights. Hunt lost 6 fights in a row and 4 after fedor beat him. Arlovski lost his next 3 after his fedor fight. Apparently they were a bit overrated.
I know I'll probably be in the minority here, but I believe a prime fedor would get tooled by Cain or JDS.

Fedor was the greatest. I don't think anyone will dispute that. But, any fedor fan with half a brain will admit that he didn't fight anyone for a long time while he was considered the greatest.

Yes they were at the end of their careers, has nothing to do with them being among the 7 or so best heayweights in the world when they fought Fedor.
Also Pride rules Fedor beats both Cain and JDS by armbar.

You keep saying this but you fail to say what "long time" it was when he didn't fight anyone?
