Well ya he has upside.

You list him with HOFers and guys with 1500 seasons

I listed him because he's not from and SEC and is one of the best receivers in the NFL. He's a WR1 on a ton of teams, but gets overlooked because of who his teammate is.

He destroyed Denver in the 2015 playoffs and they had one of the best defenses ever. I've been a fan ever since.

As of right now Julio because he was literally unstoppable last year.

He only had 6 TDs on 83 catches last year and has only hit double digit TDs (10) once ('12) in his 6 seasons. 24 players caught more TDs than he did last year. Even Dez Bryant who most would say had a bad year w/only 50 catches caught more TDs at 8 than Jones. LINK

So is he really good? Hell yea. Unstoppable? Nah.

As much as I don't want it to be Bama, the only competition for Julio is Eric Berry with what OP is asking.

OP asks a completely different question in the title than he does in the body of his post though. Right now, there is plenty of competition to Julio as of 6-11-17.

He's not even a top 10 WR or even close. How is he one of the best?

He has to produce at a high level to be mentioned in that category

ATL had 20 rush TDs, 3rd in the league.

His coaches openly admit they dont target him enough in the RZ

The attention he draws opens up TDs for others. Ryan doesnt force it to Julio. 12 guys caught TDs for ATL last season

Again, if he was that unstoppable they would be targeting him in the EZ more and he'd be getting more long TDs.

I'm not saying he isn't any good or that he isn't one of the best in the L. Not at all.

But if a person is going to get labeled unstoppable and unquestionably the best SEC player in the NFL he is going to need to have more than 6 TDs and he'll need to have broken the 10 TD barrier at least more than once in his 6 seasons.

When I think of an unstoppable WR my mind goes right to prime Randy Moss. Julio ain't at that level. That's not an insult either.

I think him and Patrick Peterson have very strong arguments for this title. Both multi year all pros and perennial pro bowlers.

Berry is probably the easiest to say that he is the best player at his position though.
