Packers went 15-1 that season that they had the 32nd defense...

You serious? Rodgers literally has the best skill set ever for an NFL quarterback. Not best yet but all experts, not people on here know the true answer.

That's the only time I remember Rodgers sucking in the playoffs. Of course the Giants had their voodoo working and made Brady struggle too.

Drew Brees
0

Aaron Rodgers
Donald Driver
Greg Jennings
Jordy Nelson
Randall Cobb

How much of that is Rodgers and them playing for an iconic team vs playing for the saints?

Brees is the most accurate QB in NFL history.

In terms of completion % .
Rodgers int % is highest ever while Brees is 16th.
Rodgers has the best career TD to INT ratio in NFL history with 4.01. Brady is 2nd with 3.05 while Brees is 8th with a 2.14. Rodgers also has by far the highest career QBR ever with 103.8.

If you put Brees on some of the packer teams that came up short I’m pretty sure they go to the Super Bowl and probably win because they had decent defenses .

You give Rodgers the Saints teams that Drew drug to wins without a defense in pretty sure you get the same result 8-8 , 7-9, 9-7

Can anybody make a case for Brees over Rodgers? Maybe you? I’ve already pointed out that he throws the fewest interceptions for a QB in NFL history. Should also add that he has an escape ability and IQ that are elite as well. He also runs a dynamic offense that rivals Brees offenses.

And Rodgers has done that while playing his entire career outside in the north. That ratio is insane.

I’m a Packer fan so I can’t answer this without bias so I will just take a moment to say something nice about Brees. He is the most under appreciated QB ever in terms of respect on a national level. It sucks that he played in an era with Brady, Manning, Rodgers, etc. because they somewhat overshadowed his accomplishments. He would have stood out a lot more and gotten more respect playing in another era or maybe even another market. Him not winning MVP in 2009 (or any at all for that matter) was a travesty

And it’s cool to see all he has done for New Orleans. True gentleman of the game

I think it’s kinda close. The only ones who think Brees is GOAT are a couple of homer Saints fans.

We’re literally arguing about this? LOL It’s Aaron Rodgers, dude’s the most talented QB in NFL history next to Archie Manning, Terry Bradshaw, Bert Jones, John Elway, Cam Newton and Andrew Luck and his versatile and immense talent translates to incredible production and efficiency on the football field, this isn’t rocket science y’all.

Terry Bradshaw,

The man was one tough son of a bitch but in terms of pure passing no. Even compared to his peers his numbers don’t really shine out and he played on some stacked teams.

Rodgers has the stronger arm and when he's on he is ridiculous. Brees has more intangibles. Take your pick. I would like to see Rodgers in a Sean Payton system. That would be unfair to the rest of the league. As a Saints fan, I still take Brees. In the sports realm, he's been the lifeblood of Nola since Katrina.

Was a reason Bradshaw was selected no. 1 overall back in 70 and Pittsburgh already had a QB with Hanratty

Ok but how does that make him among the talented QBs ever?

I think you meant athletic instead of talented.

It’s undeniable that both have produced. Brees has the longevity while Rodgers is older but still with a lot of his career left. One is just more dynamic, protects the ball better, and has a better argument for being the most complete QB.
