Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuumb Rogers easy.

Romo > Brees

If you look at their stats, Romo had a Pro Bowl year, with 4,211-yards passing,

36 TD, 19 INT, and 97.4 passer rating.

Brees finished the year with 4,423-yards passing, 28 TD, 18 INT, and 89.4 passer rating.

Look man. I dont mind you using stats to prove a point. But dont be a cocksucker and say 2009 was Brees's best season.

2011 Brees
46 TDs
14 ints
Yds/game: 342

Rodgers is a better qb but using 09 stats isnt the best way to do it.

My apologies. I was using pro football reference and was just scanning for the most bolded stats in a single line.

Bench McElroy

Here's the thing Bench. You have Aaron Rodgers as the better QB using "number of seasons where they accomplished X"...and the funny thing is Brees has been a starter for 6 more seasons! Even with that Rodgers ranks out better. Let's re run this analysis if and when Rodgers ends up playing the same number of seasons as Brees, because right now Brees has played about 33% more games than AARod.

It's fricking silly how good he is.

I like how you are mysteriously forgetting that Brees had Jimmy Graham

Yeah Jimmy Graham has really been lighting up the league after he left the saints....

Meanwhile, the Saints mysteriously have receivers doing great in New Orleans and Brees’ numbers haven’t dropped off.

Hmmm. Makes you wonder.

What the frick are you talking about?

I’m saying Rodgers is better. But I’m a Saints fan. I’ve seen this franchise be awful for years and I saw Brees come here and change things, he won us a Super Bowl and never in my life did I think I’d see that. So even though I think Rodgers is better I wouldn’t trade Brees for him because there’s a strong attachment I have with Drew. He’s the face of this franchise. How hard is that to understand?

Nah it’s like comparing Jordan to someone else in the top 10 all time.

Brees.... I mean come on.... he won a super bowl in New Orleans. No other starting qb in history can say that.

Brees is an all time great.

But I think Rodgers is the GOAT.

Dude, Brees is gonna own EVERY SINGLE major record if he stays healthy and plays out his contract...while leading the worst NFL franchise in History to a Super Bowl having Derrick Zoolander as his coach ALL THE WHILE playing at GOAT level against three successive HOF QBs.

There’s no way around it, the man has averaged 306 ypg with close to a 70% completion rate SINCE FREAKING HURRICANE KATRINA.

If I was Drew and believed I could realistically maintain this level of play a few more years to increase my statistical record margin over all the current QBs to the point of basically unattainability, I'd do it
