Obviously, I hope Ohio State does. Unfortunately, the realist in me knows this is a long shot. Our defense is not very good this year, as we are very young.

But they won't, because you can't recruit the type/quantity of player there to run the table even in the acc. UNC is pretty good, Clemson is elite, and in any given year there is a Louisville, NC St, FSU, Va Tech, hell Georgia Tech or Duke that will trip the 'cluse up. Then they have to beat TWO playoff teams. The 'cluse and 75% of teams in college football, can't build a powerhouse to do that. That's why only 25% of the teams in the country have a shot at winning the crown. And honestly, only half of that 25% has a legitimate chance to win it all.

Man, Clemson was ALWAYS a sleeping giant. They have always had the administration support and fan base to be dominant. Northwestern, syracluse, duke, vandy and A HOST of other power 5s don't have a prayer. You need to stack top 5-10 classes on top of each other to win the title. This ain't win one for the gipper anymore.
