Come on now, I'm as big a Yao fan as anybody. He's 1 of only 4 bigs in the league to average 20/10(howard, duncan, bosh), but he's not a top 5 player. I don't know of anybody who has Yao in their top 5.

Further, The assist is an overrated stat mainly because the player that gets credited only does half the work. You can make the best passes in the world, but if the other guys don't finish it counts as ZERO assists.
A good assist is a Paul alley-oop to Chandler.
A lame assist is a pass to a guy who hits a 20 + ft jumpshot

You are right. Its tough, But Wade can take over a game BIG TIME!!! CP3 Can do some of the same!!! BUT Kobe and Lebron are better than both!!!
