The first? Walter Payton was the first, the way that guy could go from such a violent style to having such grace was unreal to watch. It seemed like he could just do whatever the situation called for whenever he wanted to.

George Brett because he played the game like it was meant to be.....at 110% with his hair on fire.

The two football players that completely floored me as a kid were Barry Sanders and Randy Moss.
Tiger Woods almost goes without saying which is why I forgot him in my original post. As most of you are old enough to be aware of, he was basically a golf god.
On a more regional and personal level, Matt Jones (qb at Arkansas from 01-04) was probably the most formative athlete in my development as a degenerate hogs fan. About as natural of an athlete as you'd ever see.
