Yeah, what's the backstory here?
He wrote an article over the weekend:
quote:
Sunday, I wrote a column advising ESPN’s super-talented Maria Taylor to avoid making the Twitter-inspired mistake that undermined Michelle Beadle’s and Jemele Hill’s promising careers. Avoid wallowing in victimhood and don’t allow social media to convince you that sports fans are stupid and racist. Within the column I referenced “beauty privilege” and pointed out that Nolan had ridden that privilege to a 7-figure salary and a Sports Emmy Award despite a paper-thin resume and even less on-camera ability.
Nolan took offense and said this on Twitter:
quote:
“You’re this close to making an actual point about the expectation of women to not only be good at their job but also beautiful, but actual points don’t pay the bills huh. Keep this same energy next time I see you though.”
So he decided to write an entire article on how useless she is. She responded by making her Twitter account private.

That was vicious. Also like him taking his potshots at Hill, Jones, Le Betard, Spain, Sharpe etc.

Fox got rid of him

You'd figure by now people would click links and read the entire piece instead of just the quotes. Though not in this case, they have been used to push narratives as well. The backstory was in the article.

I'd say Whitlock is punching down
He said as much.
Apparently Nolan got mad when he named dropped her in a column about Maria Taylor, who also skyrocketed to relevance based on her looks.
He's not saying there is anything wrong with it, just saying don't take yourself too seriously, because no one else does.

That link made Lavar Ball look like a complete fool

He's being the same bitter a-hole he's always been. His partnership with Clay Travis probably won't last more than a year. He's worn out his welcome everywhere he's ever gone.

While he's not wrong on Katie Nolan, really weird to go after her.

Outkick the Coverage is part of Fox Sport's portfolio now.

No it is not. It's owned privately by Clay and Whitlock has an equity stake.

Still to this day the greatest thing I've ever seen from a daily sports take show besides that time SAS and Michael Irvin yelled at each other for 10 minutes over the cowboys

I don’t care enough to read about any part of this story but I’m gonna go ahead and side with Katie Nolan because Jason Whitlock sucks donkey dick
Posted on 9/21/20 at 3:59 pm to wildtigercat93
I think Whitlock has found his Candace Owens niche and will ride that gravy train until it ends.

Not many career avenues left that allow you to get away with wearing a fedora all the time

Alright, affiliated with Fox Sports, I guess? His show airs on Fox Sports radio, right?

At least Whitlock will do something that people will talk about. Nolan hasn’t done or said anything interesting in her entire career
